JFM and Josh Brown opening together.. they better hope the pitches are flat or they'll be 2/**** all alot.. I'll call it now they'll come last.

some quirky rule change there, seems one import can be pre signed, but i thought that was one that played with the club the previous season, but with billings and curran signed to different clubs it seems open slather for one signing, meaning rashid is open to anyone if he was available

i think the renegades will sign de kok before the draft
Because players were only doing half seasons or leaving before finals, CA has offered multi year deals to international players rather than the single year contract through the draft. This contract also states players must be available for the full season.
This was in direct response to one of the English players stating that they would prioritise the BBL if they could assure long term contracts.
de Kock won’t sign this deal, as he himself needs to prioritise the SA20 which clashes with the BBL

they probably come off enough times not to finish last, but one reason why we need to sign jono wells back up,guy is a breath of fresh air, great fielder & gets busy from ball 1,can come in at 3 or 4 for 30 and just keeps the scoreboard ticking over, finchy as great as he was would waste 2 overs scoring 2,then get out 30-40% of the time, wells could also clear the fence if that circumstance was needed, really hope we re sign him, even at 35 he deserves to play till its obvious he cant

I don't think even the Tassie selectors at the time that gave him 56 first class matches averaging 23 as a specialist bat were as big a fans of Wells as you.

He has turned himself into a handy T20 cricketer but very close to the end now.

There were times last season I would have been happy to drop him - with the retirements of Finch & Marsh, then he may not be the worst player to keep around in a mentoring type role, but I don't think he's an automatic pick if he stays in the squad
