Evans carried the Scorchers' batting hard last year, we look very thin even with this young kid Hurst.

Renegades' lineup looks very strong with Evans, JFM and Brown if he repeats his heroics of last year

The Renegades could just as easily implode too. One of those feast or famine teams I suspect

Happy with Hossain, Jordan, Hope
Surely the hurricanes can finally win there maiden title.
Every year the Hurricanes look strong on paper, and every year they fail spectacularly. Is Tim David still on their books? Maybe he'll finally do something in the BBL.

Stars batting lineup is hard to predict, they have 5-6 blokes who could open.
Fast blowing is very poor, wonder if they have any signings to bolster that to come.

1. Duckett
2. Rogers
3. Harper
4. Maxwell
5. Webster
6. Stoinis
7. Cartwright
8. Curran
9. Mir
10. Boland
11. Paris

Hope is as good a signing as their has been for a while. Quality white ball bat.

The draft sucks though, if you want this comp to get bigger you need stars. It used to be up there as a benchmark but now its pretty ordinary.

Just got the dreaded Hobart Hurricanes import hoodoo to contend with.

Potential Strikers 11, not including Head (yet to sign) and Carey who will miss games due to international duties. Also assumes we sign Nielsen but either way we will need a keeper besides Carey as I don't think Pope will keep.

Matt Short
Darcy Short
Lynn
Ollie Pope
Weatherald
Nielsen or another keeper (yet to sign)
Fabian Allen
Overton
Thornton
Buckingham
Lloyd Pope

Other Squad members:
Carey (when available)
Head (when available - yet to sign)
Alex Ross
Cam Boyce
James Bazely
 Doggert
One free spot - maybe Kelly

Ahead of Mac Wright to start the season possibly? I'd also have Hossain over Hatzoglou.

Does Choudhary bowl? If he does he could replace Hatz and slot in at 7 with Jordan at 8. Much better balance that way.
Yeah Chaudhary bowls leg spin.
