Tempting to go those three but I'm going to take Chris Johnson over Black. The reasoning being that it would better serve our team at this point in time. We are crying out for a defender with some pace and an ability to take the game on and Johnson would certainly improve us in that regard. Then I think Neale is probably a fairly close match for Black in terms of the way he plays. On the other hand we don't have a player like Voss at this point in time. Having him in the middle instead of Lyons would help us when we play the more physical midfielder like Geelong. Finally Aker just adds so much to the midfield and then forward as one of the most dynamic players of all time.

So for me it's Voss, Aker and Johnson.

Why would you select Jurrah over Neitz? Based on potential? It doesn’t make sense

Pretty much this, you'd get near universal agreement for a similar topic on the Eagles board.

Not many defenders or forwards in our history that would make anywhere as much of an impact if they were added to today's outfit - much less the three often considered as the GOAT midfield combination in modern AFL history.

Tredrea, Chad Cornes and Wanganeen.

They are amongst the best 3 but I'd suggest we'd take Primus or Lade instead of Wanganeen for the bigger upgrade.

Aliir and Cornes are similar types, Tredrea and Dixon are of similar type (obviously one is better). But I think Lycett to Lade is a bigger gap.
