Man, if there’s one player you want to come on as a full time mid it’s Beau.

His combo of brute strength and electric pace are attributes you pray for in a modern day mid.

Hope that’s the plan for Beau and they give him every chance.

Won't work. Beau can't find the ball and our ball winners wouldn't hand ball to him anyway. You would rather than ball in Daicos brothers hands bursting out the centre.

He's good in space, normally struggles in traffic offensively, he's good at applying defensive pressure.

I was on board with trialling him as a midfielder but I think he's more valuable as a pressure forward.

I feel he's really not far away from being a decent mid. He can find the ball so long as his opponent picks it up.

Kicked some nice goals in one ANZAC day including one where he snatched the ball up and belted three blokes before getting it out to Daics.

Last year, he got on the move and was attacking and effective around forward 50 stoppages. Yet to see it at midfield stoppages.

He showed glimpses of playing really high level footy but then had some injuries and didn’t look near it again.

I think the concussion where he got a full power knee to the chin slowed his season down a lot

Tend to agree. He's got the tools to tear games apart, but needs an injection of confidence.

He's given a very specific role that he really concentrates on during games. It might be that he never waivers from his role. Seems to have good enough skills to be more though. I think we'll see him get more midfield time this year

Thats exactly what it is. Benches 155kg or something absurd and tackles like a freight train so physically he can monster most mids. Just needs to do some work with Jordy and Nick to learn a few stoppage tricks and he could be an absolute bull in there

Could play like Jordy if he had his attacking impulses. Is there a cure for not having ADHD.
