Sheridan and her bloke got jibbed on that one. No way she was getting that.

Yeah the producers have been doing that since the first season hey. You can predict that the second question when it's down to the last two pairs is always going to be ludicrously hard.

Have to say that Emily bird is pretty fit too. Anyone else reckon Matthew looks like Justin Westhoff? He seems pretty confident, could be the first guy to make a move

Not a fan of this season so far. Can't stand the pretty boy hosting it, let him stick to kids game shows and bring back Bernard thanks. Four of the beauties are average at best, which when you are labelling yourself purely as a beauty, you need to be at least an 8. The kiwi mole has the most annoying voice I have ever heard, and I usually love kiwi accents (like Kristy/kirsty? from last season).

Like Kassi, Sheridan and the babysitter and the hobbit guy and Nathan.

She is by far my pick of the bunch! Absolutely stunning. And she seems like a really nice, down to earth chick. Not ditzy at all either. And her partner (hobbit) is my favourite geek. Hope they go all the way.

Next favourite is Erin and Westhoff.

And I have to disagree. I'm stoked that Bernard is gone. He took bloody forever reading out questions, then pausing 20 seconds to give an answer. Absolutely shit me to tears. This bloke is heaps better.

Alright, confession time. I auditioned for the show this year and got through to the final casting stage in WA. It was basically down to six of us.

Matthew was a really great guy, quite similar to me. I haven't watched the episode yet (I'll get around to it tomorrow) but I knew he'd be the one the producers would go for. He had a real quiet confidence about him that'd stand up to being on television but probably had more of a geeky edge than me. Fantastic guy, sat next to him at the start and spent the two hours there talking with him about his life and he was actually quite engaging in conversation.

Nathan was over the other side of the room for the most part so I didn't really have much to do with him; that said I've got a feeling he was the first of us to go for our final one on one audition filming because we found we had a bit of time waiting around for that and I don't remember really speaking to him. Can't tell you a lot about him, but I know the person I gelled with was Matthew.

My $0.02, I'll probably be able to offer a bit more when I've watched the episode.

So you are saying you are a geek?? and a collingwood supporter?? well who would of thought

So having now watched the episode, I'll definitely be on the bandwagon for the WA boys. Matthew came across exactly as he did at the audition, definitely has the life story of the geek, very accomplished guy, really can't get over how much he reminded me of me, even our relationship history seems quite similar (haven't been set up on a blind date by mum yet though :p)

Nathan really impressed me too, as I said didn't have much to do with him at the audition but from the filming he looks like he's a really genuine guy. Was quite quietly spoken IIRC at the audition, we had our fair share of extreme, extreme geeks and Nathan definitely didn't fit in that category.

As for the challenges, not sure how I felt about either of them. Thought Nathan was absolutely fantastic (sans pelvic thrusting and pole dancing) in the geek challenge, to be beaten by the backflipping geek sucked (what sort of geek backflips anyway?). Almost glad I didn't get cast for the beauties challenge, crabs down my pants didn't appeal to me at all but I'm sure the experience absolutely would've been worth it.

Damn right it would be. Imagine if you were the guy who has to sleep with two birds in a double bed? Amazing.

Alex is definitely a geek. Every lunchtime was spent playing Dungeons and Dragons. He left school to be in the circus after year 10. Felt he wasn't being challenged.

Don't forget the unemployed chick :thumbsu:
Is it just me or is this the poorest female talent to date in all of the Aussie series? Not even one chick with big.... assets.
Erin a clear no. 1 for mine. Here's to plenty of bikini action ahead.

Agreed, some of these 'beauty's" are pretty average looking, it seems airheads are what they after.

That Zac kid needs to be punched............. a lot of times.

So do they get the guys to go more geeky and hairy for the filming ? The beauties certainly enhance the stupidity. No one can be that stupid or unaware of stuff

I'd say so, but these guys were legitimate geeks. Brony etc
