Wiggo = heart and soul

He is about the only experienced bloke that is close to a good role model, we can't have our young players looking upto "pressure points" judd, "dildo man" Fev or "pie guts" stevo.

Also he is the hardest bloke at the club...will be boarderline best 22 next year and beond but good to have as a depth player.

Wiggo is awesome, we sould keep him because he is a role model and a servent of the club

Definately, he is one of the most popular players at the club and all our players love him, BTW call him chief!

will stay on, his courage on Saturday night getting in front of Brown & Bradshaw was exceptional

sorry but at 28 years old i dont think we should keep him, keeping him would prevent us putting another young bloke on the list.cant doubt his courage and is a great team man but just doesnt have the skills or decision making

Is Wiggo contracted for next year?

Is this the end of Wiggo?

Is he going to become the next David Teague?

Wiggin has two options

1. Assistant playing coach at the N Bullants

2. By some act of god he reamins on the list as a depth player, however I would much prefer us to take another kid in the rookie draft. Wiggins had a real chance to improve this year given our sides improvement and unfortunately he is not upto it.

To those that say keep him I say lets re draft David Teague.

Ratts needs to find a position for him...he is useufl at both ends of the ground. In defence he shows a lot of balls, runs back hard and takes some important marks. At half forward is another makring option but his disposal is poor so he can often undo his good work.

I can think of many others who i would trade or delist before wiggins. The club needs some experience and balls for that matter, dont get rid of one of the many few that we have in the team.

He gets another year for mine, but for gawd's sake don't play him in the backline. His only valuable role is the hard-working, lead-up half-forward.
You don't think running back into Johnathans Browns space and taking saving marks is valuable ??

He has more heart and courage in his little finger than half the players on our list ...sure he doesn't have the talent as 90 percent of them but he makes up for it in over areas .

He should be kept on for another year ..even if it is only as a depth player.

Yes lets swap him for another another young bloke that runs around in the Ants and shows nothing ...not as if we don't have enough of those already

Honestly i think Wiggo's best footy is behind him and it is a tough call as to wether or not we keep him. I am going to ask a question to the everyone here!

Do you think Wiggins will be in our next premiership team???

My answer is No and i think he will become ONLY a depth player and will be recalled to the Seniors only when we are Injury depleted. Thus i will not have a problem with him being moved on and a youngster given a chance.

There is no denying he is an excellent clubman and well liked but tough decisions need to be made if we are to move forward IMO.

I'd also say no, but he can help get us there. He is tough as nails and a great role model at the club. Yeah he's not the most skilled player we have but he gives it all every week, surely some of the younger blokes could learn a few things from him. I'd keep him on the list for at least one more year.

You think he's the only one on our list that won't be there when we win our next premiership ? ...Then i've got news for you .
if we move them all now we will struggle next year ....we have many a player ready to delist before we get to Wiggo .

Love him or hate him its hard to argue against the fact he (plus Fisher and Cloke) exists soley as a depth player.

The three will probably survive for another year due to a lack of forward options on the list.

All three would struggle to get a game anywhere else, with few exeptions.

No i dont but this thread is about Wiggo.

+1. Its got nothing to do with his age and everything to do with the fact that he simply doesnt cut it at AFL level. He cant accurately kick a ball 20m to a team mate ffs, how can we continue to give him a spot on the list.

what a stupid argument. sometimes taking a chance on a kid will pay off, sometimes they wont. But we will never know unless we take that chance. Keeping wiggo means we cant take that chance.

The problem with Wiggo is he is too short to be a defender and can't kick to be a decent forward, I mean he's less useful than Setanta.

And his disposal could be the worst in the league, his disposal is of Richmond class, he really beings Richmond skills to our club.
