Off Topic, for those who don't know or if it's been mentioned yet, Lara will be in the comp next year. Makes things a little different then!

It's not 100% but it's more and more likely every week, presidents should ratify once GFL done!

Can you see them keeping blokes who wanna play GFL footy, or being competitive against BFL teams?

Opinions of GFL men at work - wouldn't put up a fight against GA/Torquay, and wouldn't be much better than Newcomb & Port

All valid points.
They have requested the move already which will be interesting in the weeks to come.
I feel that they would be a middle of the pack in the BFL. They are certainly better than the lower end sides. Have got some very very good young talent. I would think they would retain their higher quality plyers based on the fact that the new system comes in the following season.

So Lara come down and have a year to re-load before promotion/relegation kicks off. Presumably this would mean Ammos or Torquay would go up next year. Potentially this throws any planning they might be doing for the end of next year out the window. They would tick all the boxes in terms of on & off field requirements but can they be forced to move up if they aren't willing or ready?

No.
Teams will not HAVE to go anywhere next year. However they can request a move.

Not if port get relegated next year haha
Are you really this dumb, or is it just an act?

NO ONE IS GETTING RELEGATED OR PROMOTED NEXT YEAR....
CLUBS CAN REQUEST A RELEGATION, OTHERWISE IT IS HAPPENING IN 2019..............................................................................................................................

Shit.... Hit a soft spot there. It was a joke you sook. Might be time to replace that tampon.

Another team for Port to lose to?

Clubs would relish the bye's through out the year, it's a decent system to have in place
It would help Port too as you would think a seeded draw will need to be introduced. That would mean we would only have to play the premiers and runners up once.

(It also means our fellow strugglers would only have to play them once also)

Worst in what way?

I walked past Joeys ground the other day and it's almost a dust bowl in winter. Shocking surface on it.

In terms of the surface itself. It's on par with how Modda used to be, slight drizzle of rain and turns to slop. Wicket in the center is rock hard also.
