i'm happy we've picked up a player like cousins so cheaply, but "great man" is so far from the truth it's ridiculous. he has a lot to prove as both a player and as a person
Yes agree on the great man thing but he has nothing to prove as a player at all. He has been there and done it all. Yes he has something to prove as a person though.

32 is likely, lowest number available after Tivendale's retirement (excluding 1).
he has to prove that he can still do it...i believe he can and will, but it's not a foregone conclusion that he will get back to anything like his old self

I am under the impression that 32 is the lowest available number, I'm not sure if we're going to retire the famous #32 for a few years yet though...
I'm sure Newman won't mind giving up #1 for Cousins, by the time he's finished up as captain in 3-4 years he can get the number back anyway.
