Hope the media dont go poking around to much... The poor guy just wants to be left alone , i wouldn't be surprised with all the media making a big deal about his employment that he just went to lay low.
Laying so low that his family hasn't seen him for a month? Very disconcerting.

So Trevor Nisbett has come out and said he turned up for work for 3months, his parole conditions said he only had to work there till April, is it just me or could this be a storm in a tea cup?

On the other hand, maybe, just maybe, he has met minimum requirements to fulfill his parole conditions and as soon as they were met he returned to his old ways.

For mine - he appeals as someone who knows how to work the system, this, then there was the hairless body when hair tests for drugs were due to be carried out. While I have little experience with addiction something about this whole scenario doesn't sound right.

In what way was he not in a good state?

Definitely looked like he wasn’t living well. Scruffy looking with about 4-5 bags on his shoulder and he was looking all over the place walking down the street with another man, the man grabbed him by the jacket at one point and pulled him in another direction. Was quite shocked to be honest.

I continue to wish him all the best, but he's odds on to be a trainwreck for the rest of his life unfortunately. At least he has achieved something, which is more than can be said for a lot of people.

I am starting to feel old, even though I am younger than Ben. Something about having watched him through his entire career and now there are probably teenagers out there seeing this story and thinking who the **** is this loser.

I wish the media would just heck off now.

There's no longer any public interest here. It's no different than harrassing any other rough sleeping addict and we / the media don't give two shits about the other 99.9% of homeless people battling with drug and mental health issues.

I'm sick of the feigned sympathy, it's garish. We don't need to see it and I doubt his family and friends do either.

You’d think the Shane Yarran situation may have convinced them to lay off. Nope. Vultures.
