Strath do or at least had a Clash jumper I remember them wearing it around 2015-2018ish or something dunno where it’s gone.

2 bad losses in a row for Strath now. Should they be asking questions of coaching and leadership/off field or too early and an overreaction?

Used to have a majority navy blue strip at one point but don’t know what lead to them not using it.

Probably an overreaction at this point but they will want to get back to somewhere near their best.

Schiska injury will not help

Interesting couple of months coming for Strath. With Schischka down hopefully Gordon back soon. They need to steady the ship

Is the plan at Camp Reserve to eventually demolish the existing Changerooms for the new ones on the wing?

The reason I ask is didn’t they get an upgrade in the off season to the home and away changerooms?

I like the above posters thoughts about the ideal social rooms when upgraded such as terracing but unfortunately it seems like the main driver for upgrades these days are around gender neutral facilities rather than spectator comfort. No reason they couldn’t do both with most shelters not that expensive to incorporate.

Everything is expensive when it comes to local government or any government work.

Like said earlier. Wedderburns facilities cost $7.3 million which is just it and our robbery

if your councils are like to $hitshows down here you get what your given without any consultation or conversation. brand new is often not required or even wantd and sometimes its a simple better shelterd area for spectators or a toilet shower ugrade that would apease the clubs and its patrons or someone bituman or concrete this time of year so cars and spectaters arent carting mud everywhere.

No upgrades at The Camp.
The old rooms will all be demolished in the master plan. Council have approved the plans and want to go ahead, but there's no longer any federal funding for these projects.

There is a vocal minority of residents who don't want the plan to proceed because they think cutting through the camp on their daily walk makes them a user group and they don't want some trees cut down. None of which are older than the reserve anyway. They think there's no need for netball courts and the girls and women can go play at Wesley Hill instead.

Tell me this is a joke

Sadly not Olly. I had better not tell you about the old poultry shed out the back they won't let be pulled down then...
Our town is filling up with these people. Not everyone who comes here has those attitudes, to be fair.

The reality is more Castlemaine people that I went to school with live in Bendigo than Castlemaine now. And then their parents follow them up there.
The fabric of the town has changed so much that many locals just feel there's very little reason left for them to stay here.
Long term this will be major issue for the viability footy club.

Word on the street is Broadford as good as confirmed to be joining the league next year. If Maryborough stay, they will break their losing streak, you can lock them in for 2 x 10 goal wins in 2025.

Can’t be true - the fab 3 will beat them by 1000 points

Cannot go ahead. Broadford have played in minor leagues for some time and I'm serious when I say the top few teams would honestly win by 300+ against them. They would struggle to win a game in the Heathcote district league. Big joke if that gets approved.

They would be absolutely battling in RDFL. Destroyed in Bendigo if it happens.

They did get a mini upgrade, just a redo of the shower/toilet areas and a spruce up. Happened because they were heading to legal action over the lack of facilities for female players.

Is he running the council?

I think Marcel Marceau is the chairman of the council.
