I thought she complained about Facebook.

There is 0 chance anyone from the league has made FSE stop posting. There's plenty of us who have mocked them, why single one person out?
Could all be made up but if they know who he is (and don't know others), his involvement at Castlemaine and his posts violate AFL Vic social media policy then they could stop him posting about it

Unlikely, roar still posts on here and he's got far more to lose and afl vic to try muzzle him, I can't see how forrest would be banned, he's not even on the cadtlemaine committee anymore, he's just a passionate maine poster

Fair enough, I just know AFL Vic social media policy been enforced on players, umpires, commitee & club members in my region. Not supporters without any official capacity though

The Bendigo Football Netball League (BFNL) would like to confirm that the BFNL Board and the Broadford Football Netball Club (BFNC) are exploring the possibility of the BFNC joining the BFNL for the 2025 season.

The inclusion of the BFNC for the 2025 season, aligns with the BFNL’s commitment to enhance the competitive landscape of the BFNL as the League continuously assesses options to expand and strengthen its competitions.

BFNL Chair, Professor Carol McKinstry said, "Exploring new avenues for growth is a key part of our strategic vision”. "We are excited about what the future holds and look forward to the possibility of seeing Broadford competing in the BFNL from 2025 onwards. This is an exciting time for our league, and we believe that such developments will contribute positively to the sporting community in the Bendigo region."

The BFNL will work closely with BFNL Clubs and the BFNC in the coming weeks and aims to ensure that any potential transition is seamless and beneficial for all parties involved. Discussions will focus on logistical considerations, competitive balance, and the overall impact on the league's structure.

We will keep our supporters, clubs, and community members informed as we progress through the process and the continued support and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated as we work towards making the BFNL an even more vibrant and competitive league.

Wow.

Just to clarify, club has been getting a hard time about my posts for some time.
There have been attempts made to have them identify me to take action under social media policy as some have mentioned.
I have no role and am unregistered so no teeth there.
The issue for me is it is causing a hassle for those running the club and I don’t want to be the cause of that so it’s my choice not to post any longer.
I’m happy to do that and let others judge how that sort of activity reflects on the hub, although I think we already know what they are.

Surely this is a parody article. The clubs need to vote off the entire board with a vote of no football confidence. I'd have far more confidence in letting comet Hill preps run the league, and they'd have a bigger backbone of telling Steve sharp where he can stick he's idea.

That was taken from BFNL FB page. And not the compromised one unfortunately. This is surely absolutely last nail in the coffin stuff. MGYCW were and are a better option and they are a basket case at the moment but at least it makes sense in the future….

🔵⚪️ CLUB UPDATE ⚪️🔵

Thank you to those members who attended our Special General Meeting last week regarding the clubs future and preferred next steps.

We also want to wholeheartedly thank the people who have stayed connected with the club, keeping informed as best as possible to support us during these challenging times.

As discussed, our vision has always been extremely clear. We want a long-term sustainable option that safeguards an exciting pathway for our growing juniors, enables exposure to elite networks for players and coaches, grows our supporter base including sponsors, members, volunteers and past personnel, and importantly attracts players that strive to build an exciting brand of community football and netball in a supportive and safe environment.

After deeply considering our options, there truly is incredible potential for our club to reimagine what the future looks like if we can rise from this challenging situation with the football department and maintain a positive outlook. Notwithstanding, the netballers who have done a fantastic job keeping the club alive through proudly competing on our behalf this season in the Northern FNL. We too are proud of their efforts thus far.

With a few more boxes to tick as a Committee to ensure we meet the requirements of a preferred league, currently the Bendigo FNL, including to have a strong player, sponsor and volunteer base behind us, it is crucial we cover all bases first to ensure we are setup as positively and viable as possible to compete.

The Club looks forward to making an official announcement if and when an application is made.

We please ask that you remain patient over the next few weeks. We are all volunteers (with families and full-time jobs) trying to balance this continuing, crucial workload as proud custodians of the BFNC.

Wow.
If by “enhance the competitive landscape” she means “find a way to get Maryborough to win a game or two” then it mission accomplished.
Round 1, 2025 tip:

Maryborough over Broadford by 120
Will they play 16 a side?

Gisborne most likely to leave if thats come in.

Should add in White Hills and North Bendigo, maybe Marong, unsure about Huntly or MGYCW but keeps it purely in Bendigo and within 20kms, keep Castlemaine and Maryborough

Broadford in a bit of no mans land, cant get into Northern league to compete against Kilmore, or KDFL (although some clubs are leaving so maybe an opportunity)

Best place for them IMO would be Riddell FNL, Lancefield, Romsey, Wallan are close by.

Surely afl Victoria have to take over here, there's no way broadford should even be considered for the bendigo league. It's either the riddell or Northern league only and the afls job is to peace broker the best outcome for the club and leagues. This is the whole reason Greg madigan needs a job to stop this

Is that from the former Mitiamo Football Director? That ended well.

Broadford definitely have the blinkers on when it comes to Riddell. Most likely based on past experiences when things were totally different. Definitely not even considering that path - one which is clearly their best option at present.

Their pig-headedness not to look at Riddell again is highly likely to bite them on the bum and it is likely to come to fruition before the end of May next year.

Wow.
betootta advocate article? still cant believe this is legit. no coach or no players and nothing on social pages to suggest they can actually get going agian.
wish them well as every club deserves the opportunity to play but continual league hopping is not sustainable. what happens when they realise its a mistake for all the reasons discussed on here and want to leave again.

who is he. and what did strath do.
It's steve sharp, who managed to get on the square board, they even let him be prez, but bigger things were on Steve's mind, where somehow he ended up at the pioneers, where he was well out of he's depth, but managed to sack anyone who noticed this. Finally was found at and let go of he's role at pioneers, I'd love to know how he even got an interview into that programme, we've got a guy like micky turner that did the same role at geelong for 20 years.

Now he's back to he's old club as the saviour and using all of he's bendigo contacts to suggest broadford could be the next strath and build a football powerhouse from the ground up, with Steve's help and football knowledge of course. What a recipe for disaster

This is the biggest ****-up in the history of country football in Victoria if this goes ahead, broadford won't have a club in 2 years and the Heathcote and riddell leagues will have overtaken the bfl.

Greg madigan over to you to stop this immediately
