There’s been no announcement on Perry to Strath nor what Lafranchi is doing

Curnow (now retired) & Tardrew will be co-coaches of the Dragons in 2025. If rumours are true Tom Campbell will replace Greene in the goal square. With really good players coming into Castlemaine & South Bendigo I think the competition will improve even though there will only be eight teams. Kangaroo Flat would be the only team out of finals calculation but will have a much better coaching set up so hopefully they can improve on 2024. Like Castlemaine, they seem to produce good players but lose them to other clubs and I think changing their coach every year in recent years has played a role in this instability. If Ellings returns and they also recruit Perry, Gisborne would have to start 2025 as the flag favourites.

With the home and away season being at least 21 weeks it would be nice to think we could see some one off games (like Castlemaine & Maryborough at the start of this year), Sunday games & Easter weekend games. Maybe even some early season twilight or night games.
