Bernie Vince - Well worth the trade

On 7 occasions this year Dangerfield has had a disposal count greater (or less than) +/-20% of his season average disposals. Bernie has had 4...

This means Vince has been more consistent than Danger this year...

Nope! Danger has had 7, Vince has had 10. (You only counted Bernie's disposals that were greater than 20% above).

So AndyMac, you would say that Danger is more consistent, and also consistently better? :)

Nobody is making that comparison though. Right now the only thing Matt Crouch has on his side is that he could possibly play for 10 years. The quintessential Port hater OP is claiming this as a win. From what I've seen of Matt Crouch is that he can get the ball but is slow, his decision making isn't that great and neither is his disposal. He's only young, so he may mature into a more rounded footballer, but has a long way to go to be as good as Bernie. Bernie looking at his second club BnF, Crouch has it all ahead of him.

Bernie was playing country footy at the age that Matt Crouch is right now, not SANFL reserves, SANFL or AFL.
OP is silly no doubt, but there's no way to compare the two until we see Crouch's development.

did bernie even play yesterday?
assumed he was a late out:drunk:
He was crook. Reportedly a large number caught the the flu during the week. There's no doubt he was well held. It just gives a bit of context as to why he might've been that far down on his usual output.
