Here is mine.

1. Luke Hodge
2. Brent Guerra
3. Brent Renouf

5. Ben Stratton
6. Sam Mitchell
7. Brad Sewell
8. Lance Franklin
9. Jarry Roughead
10.Stephen Gilham or Campbell Brown.

Re: Best and Fairest

They can give the Peter Crimmins Medal to Luke Hodge right now.

He is the only reason we are still alive this year.

As for the rest, well I would think that Guerra, Renouf and Rioli are polling okay. The remainder are too inconsistent to get a read on.

If Hodge continues to play out the season (please dont get injured) I get the feeling it will be the most one sided count in the history of the club.

I reckon that is about right. Brent Guerra has been excellent this season.

I think stratton may be leading, its more then Just the Best on ground, it invloves who best met their role,a nd stratton may have hodge
unless the voting process has changed since last year it's best players 3 points, played well 2 points, beat opponent 1 point and exceptional game 4 points . so Stratton will be getting a lot of 2s but in the same games Hodge will be getting 3 or 4.

1. Hodge
2. Guerra
3. Renouf
4. Lewis - surprised no one has nominated him yet. Had a flat 3 weeks, but the last 3 and first 2 1/2 were very good, basically til he got flattened
5. Stratton
6. Mitchell
7. Birchall
8. Brown
9. Franklin
10. Burgoyne

Struggled beyond the top 5

I see a lot of people have Guerra in their top couple of picks - and for good reason: He has defended very well & rebounded well.

The question immediately came to mind when reading these posts: How many years of Guerra does HFC have left - ie. When is he out of contract?

If I were GC or Great Waste of Space (GWS) I would definitely be looking for a club favourite in great form & Guerra fits that bill... Hope we have him for another year or so after this one.

Otherwise:

1) Hodge
2) Browny
3) Stratton
4) Guerra
5) Rioli / Mitch
6) Buddy
7) Renouf (Has played well but prior to Skipper returning he rarely beat an opponent - not his fault of course)

Agree 100%. With the names there and the comment on Lewis. I think Brown would be in the top 6 too.

Burgoyne, Franklin and Sewell coming.
