Throw Lloyd in that discussion as well.
Lloyd at least tries to back it up with some statistical analysis, King just says rubbish like Fagan coaches bad and wins.

Melbourne, on and off the field. What a basket case.
Make a thread about basket cases if you like, this is about choking.

That said, given your club received 3 All-Australian's in F/S, a solid NGA player in Quaynor, favourable fixturing, and are the biggest club in the AFL (with all the rewards that offers), I'd say your performance this year was every bit as pathetic as ours.

has to be the Giants, they were smacking around the Swans and Lions in both of their first two finals then decided "yeah we don't like playing four quarters of footy"
Yep. They led for something like 250 minutes of finals footy and went out in straight sets.

Look at all those other teams choking this year

Why are you complaining about F/S?? You got Woewodin and Viney - LOL.

1. GWS - had both finals in the bag but instead went out in straight sets
2. Richmond - 4th oldest list and produced the worst H&A season in the history of the game
3. Sydney - Was so far ahead of the competition they were paying something like $2.20 for the flag in round 16.

If they didn't lose that they probably don't get a bye for the 1st week of finals
Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing really.

Brisbane doing it the hard way against quality teams might have been a blessing in disguise, the second half of Port/Swans had all the intensity of a mid-season home and away game. Not sure that's good preparation for "big dance".

Surely Brisbane’s round Zero choke against the Blues was the worst?

What was it? 48 point up and lost.
Doesn't get much more meaningless than round one though. They absolutely pumped you when it mattered. When was the last time a team scored sixty to zip?

Geelong was worse than GWS. You were a few goals off a flag after being up by 20 at half time and playing 5th in a home prelim against an interstate side. It can’t get any worse.

Not nearly as beautiful as the blues first half in one of the only final games they have played this century. Hipwood saved them from donuts in the half with only a minute or 2 to go. Was comedy of the highest order especially the blues board where they sooked it up reporting anyone that liked a post or commented. Such campaigners.
That's literally the policy on any opposition board you turkey
