For me the order at the moment is:

Brisbane
Sydney
Port
West Coast
Collingwood
Essendon
North
Fremantle
Richmond
Adelaide
St Kilda
Hawthorn
Geelong
Western Bulldogs
Carlton
Melbourne

Im taking into account the type of footy a club plays, potential for a club to improve and hence degree to which I want to watch them, passion of the supporters and tradition of the club, and all round entairement you want if you are at the footy or watching at TV...

You should make a rule that you cant vote for your own team.

So on that note, I'd go for North. They are playing well, have some big no-names looking good, and you couldnt have asked for more emotion charged games, plus even a draw.

They also produce shoot-outs.

I agree with Grayham. The Roos side this year aren't lined with superstars, but there's a lot to like about the way they're going about their footy at the moment. Their game against the Bulldogs on the Saturday afternoon a couple of weeks ago was a great one to watch, and the emotion last Friday night was something special.

The Doggies are excellent to watch.

All out attack, with absolutely no accountability (despite what Rohde says).

Seeing guys like Brad Johnson and Nathan Brown work is fun.

Personally I rated them at about 7th just because I think they really are just a battling ordinary team and because they really are a minnow struggling club.

You know you will get an honest battle but theirs no guarantee of seeing great footy and its very unlikely they can ever blow a team away....

I have seen the Lions and Kangaroos play in quite a number of absolutely brilliant games over the years (against other teams as well as each other). It's no surprise then, that these two teams have played in many great games against each other, and form what is currently the best on-field rivalry in the game.

These two teams are head and shoulders above the rest of the competition, in terms of the amount of top-line games they play every year, on an entertainment basis. Their teams have been marked with champions and desparate players, who are willing to give their all for victory - often appearing to produce the miraculous in the process.

Adelaide are also an extraordinary team to watch, and have been in every season they've been in the competition (even when they were crap a few years ago, I still reckoned they provided quite a few highlights).

Essendon are also a great team for entertainment, when they are on song. Sheedy has always had a penchant for flashy players, or doing the extraordinary (and down-right stupid!).

The Western Bulldogs were also a fantastic team to watch, whilst under T.Wallace.

I, of course, love to watch the Saints, but I voted for the Lions because they play the game so very well. Any team is great when they are on song, but the Lions have winners all over the ground and are class personified.
BTW, I still love the Saints!

When on song, and moving the ball quickly down to the big man at Full Forward, the Demons are irressistible

at their best, Brisbane and Melbourne are easily the 2 most exciting teams to watch

I think that the Roos arent far away from moving out of the 'minnow' camp, and into the group that contains the likes of Hawthorn, Geelong, etc (mediums).

On field, look good for a while too.

I probably prefer to watch Essendon or West Coast games most often when Port aren't involved.

As an Essendon supporter, I always love watching the Bombers. The Essendon side of 2000-2001 was the best team to watch, better than any side now.
From an unbiased point of view, I would say St Kilda.

Right now, it's the Bulldogs. The number of stirring comebacks and heart-stopping finishes they have been involved in of late makes for some real entertaining footy.

I think the continued desperation that the Dogs keep showing in the face of mounting losses/draws has added even more tension to games that were already nailbiting.

Lions when they're at their absolute peak (which hasn't been often this year).

The Bulldogs are pretty good to watch as a unit, especially the way they move it through the midfield.

Heres how i rate teams AT THEIR BEST, from most exciting, to least.

Brisbane - breathtaking when on song
Melbourne - see last years semi final vs Adelaide
Adelaide - see last years semi final vs melbourne
Port - plenty of excitng players, and awesome to watch in full flight
West Coast - Cousins, Kerr, Judd, Wirrpunda etc..........
Essendon - Still great to watch when Lloyd and Hird go nuts
Collingwood - When on a roll, play some dazzling footy
Fremantle - Lots of exciting youngsters
North Melbourne - They excite me cos they play with so much heart, against all the odds

Who are you kidding putting Melbourne at No.2? They play 1 good game a year ago so you put them & Adelaide up the top? lol
Melbourne would be be dead set last, edging out Carlton.
Along with Brisbane, the Doggies, Roos & Saints would be right up there, followed by the Swans and when on song, Hawthorn. This is leaving out the Pies of course.
