Anyone know? I think Dunstall and Martyn were the guns back in the 90s, and Gehrig in the early 2000s but who is it now? Brown? Hall? I'm guessing they bench less than back in the day these days cause they're built more for endurance but just interested anyway if someone knows?

If you're talking absolute, rather than relative to body weight, Mike Pyke would be a contender. The Swans' conditioning coach mentioned a few weeks ago on the Swans website that he is clearly ahead of anyone else at our club, mostly because he's spent years training for a sport that requires more physical power than AFL.

I was also about to name this fella.

despite some mirth at his expenses he is very fit and very strong.

In weight for weight comparison, Barry Hall took over from Brad Johnson from the Doggies. I'd say Big Bad Bazza would have to be close to number 1
 
Ricciuto was renowned for being the strongest player at either of the SA clubs a few years back. Not sure what he could actually lift though.
