Speaking of which, not even a rumour like these, but apparently Boomer Harvey still has a mortgage. By the time the AFL was full on professional, he was a bit older and wasn’t commanding the $700,000 a season other guys were.
He played for 50 seasons so his super would be handy.

Chad Wingard batting for the other team.
Have you seen his missus?

If he's turning that down for man-meat I'm Superman.

Anyone wearing this dorky hat is a bit mysterious. If he is into broads, he should re-assess his taste in hats (and tats)

Everyone knows Moore is a bone burglar. He's 'come out' to his family and close friends since early 2017 I believe. Some didn't take it that well... all I will say.
Reckon most have a pretty decent "gaydar" nowadays and I'd say could pick that characteristic of him for a while. Unfortunately some people are still living in the past...damn shame because it can't be easy for gay people to even tell their own family so being essentially turned away by them must be dogshit.

Andrew Walker wore a hat once too.

Just wondering if this could be the same Karen who was popular (in the 80's) with some Port Melbourne players, a sports commentator & a touring National Cricket Captain? Guessing this Karen must be at least mid-fifties now.
Source: A ripping bloke & storyteller, who played with Port at the time.
The one and the same.
I would say Early to Mid 60s in age though.

I was going to mention Clive Lloyd but it looks like you’ve brought him up

Footscray Technical School Old Boys
While yours is an informed suggestion, I’ll just say you haven’t pegged onto the right answer, in so far as where the event was held.
(If indeed you are suggesting what the venue was, if you are implying the individual involved was in some way associated with FTSOBFC, then you are 100% correct)

That's sooooo funny Mero. Being a gentleman, naturally I wound the clock back a bit on her age ;) Thanks for the laugh.
The stories surrounding the club, the commentator & the captain were absolutely hilarious. The source has a gift for storytelling. I'm still hoping he writes a book. Karen would be but one chapter in a certain bestseller!!!
No more on this topic from me

There's a heap about cricket but they're all well known: brown nose gnome, the punch-ups, the punchees, who hated who, who shagged who.

Did anyone remember the one about when David Beckham came to Australia for the first time? He played for LA Galaxy against Sydney in about 2007. Apparently a Fox reporter who is now associated with cricket laid him in a cubicle. Anyone else?

Was the fox reporter male or female?
