Favourite Saints moment

Good call. Would be up there for me too, sensational game. Definitely the highlight of Troy Schwarze's career anyway.

These two games would have to be up there too.

The 2009 Collingwood QF (reminds you just how awesome Riewoldt was in that game)

The 2009 Bulldogs Prelim Final (especially around the 3:30 mark, total mayhem)

The Sirengate thing was pretty big. To have the result of a match changed mid week was pretty amazing, and for the AFL to actually get something right was nothing short of a miracle as well.

AFL need "NFL Films" style production. Sadly, they have no interest in there own production levels.

Those NFL films are unreal. I have zero interest in the NFL, I find it virtually unwatchable but those NFL films have me glued.

2007 smashing of Port in the GF
2007 Prelim final Cats VS Collingwood (for the non-cats supporters sakes, it was unfortunate the following week couldn't be as competitive)
2007 RD 6 Geelong VS Richmond - Kickstarted the Geelong era
Bartel and Ablett's long deserved Brownlow wins.
Rd 14 2009 Saints VS Cats - We lost, but that was one of the best AFL games I had seen in a very long time.
2009 GF
Rd 17 2009 Hawks VS Geelong with the cats getting up by a point kicked on the siren after being five goals down and written off in the 4th quarter.

Outside of Geelong - The close WCE V Sydney GF's and the Brisbane trifecta were also highlights.

2007 Grand Final Geelong v Port Adelaide - This was a great moment for Cats fans who have waited for 44 years to finally break the drought and not only for the cats fans, but for Victoria in general. After 6 years on the road, the premiership cup finally comes back to Victoria.

Round 21, 2009 - North Melbourne v St Kilda - It was the greatest win of all time, to upset the premiership contender, was unbelievable. It is the first time that we have beaten a side that was going to be a premiership threat since 2004. It was also the week that James Hird called us "soft" for appointing Brad Scott, it was a moment i will never forget.

Was a quality game.

you should have sid, when did he ever have a purple patch
I would have though 71.57 from his first 14 games at senior level was somewhat of a purple patch, albeit off-topic in 1991.

Ben Cousins:
early 2007- suspended by the Eagles, taken into rehab
mid 2007- comeback vs Sydney, 38 possessions
late 2007- public arrest and sacked by Eagles, suspended for 12 months by AFL
2008- drafted by Richmond
2009- AFL comeback against Chris Judd, tears hamstring.

Games
2005 semi final- Freo vs St Kilda- LOOONNNNGGGGMUIR!!!!
2009 AFL Grand Final
2004 PF

AFL Hightlights:

Brisbane 3peat.
Laughing myself silly at Collingwood(in particular Rhys Shaw) in the 03 Grand Final
Leo Barry you star!
Mark Williams after Port's win in 04.

Essendon Highlights:

2000 season - best season ever
Lloyd's ton in 00 and 01
Hird ANZAC Day 03
Hird v West Coast Eagles 2004
ZAHARAKIS!!! The Bombers are in front!!!

.........what more can be added?
Firstly great selection of games /players. Good effort to reduce bias to your own team. :thumbsu:
Secondly I'm so pleased you put R22 2002 Port-Brisbane in, that was an all-time classic and at the ground you couldn't hear the siren for the crowd yelling (yes, we used to get crowds). It was also when Choco reinvented Chad Cornes as a defender and Choco's duels with Jonathan Brown began.
Thirdly I'd add R17 2001 Port-Essendon which was as fast and skillful as anything I've ever seen, and we won by 7 points. And I'd add about 2/3 of the Derbys that had Josh Carr in them. And there was a Geelong/Adelaide game in the rain at Kardinia Park when Garry Ayres still coached the Crows that had me enthralled. Mark Riccuito was a one man team that day.
