GRAND FINAL SIDE. You didn't make the Grand Final in 02 or 03. You said that the Brisbane side of 03 wasn't dominant....I believe their GRAND FINAL side was dominant (hello, won a premiership quite easily..) whereas your side didn't even make the GRAND FINAL that year.
Re-read the thread title, pull your head in and either toddle off or admit you've got no clue.

port won the gf in a year where 15 other sides was rebuilding kinda the same as geelong this year they only won the grand final because all other 15 teams was in the rebuilding stage, if all sides was at maximum level geelong and port wouldnt have made the top 8 this year

the only reason carlton didnt make the top 8 this year is because we didnt have chris judd but we got him now
At least ROARisWAR mentioned a GF side. I don't agree with what he said but at least he understood what the thread is about (again, GRAND FINAL sides).
You go on about Port's 04 side being more dominant than the side which won the premiership quite easily...the logic is astounding cochise. You think like Westhoff, Motlop et al performs in Grand Finals....sloppy, clueless with a hint of fear and more than a touch of the yips.

Boy you are clueless to suggest that. brisbane looked awesome for much of this season and just got incredibly cocky on grand final day.
St.Kilda and geelong were on the rise and signs were starting to pop up that West Coast and Sydney would figure in years to come.
So there's five teams who certainly weren't rebuilding. You aren't giving enough credit to an awesome Port Adelaide side IMO.

If anything, West Coast were just about the best for beating the Geelong side of 1992 - that geelong side was awesome in the home and away season.
Gotta be 1991. Best Grand Final at Waverley.

Without Question the WCE of 06 were the most arrogant disgraceful winners. At least Geelong shook the kids hands and didn't swear and carry-on like the Eagles.
