Yeah,good thing they raised the yoke I suppose. But that jumper was only worn a couple of times by Ash Mcgrath and Jarrad Brennan and nobody from Brisbane really wears long sleeves anymore that's why it looks weird. Kinda sucks, I think Charlie,Beams or Christensen would rock the 3/4 sleeves really well.

Well, they had bigger issues to worry about and never got a chance to Either colourway is glorious though.

They should bring back the navy/maroon jumper as an away strip, even if it's just for one season.

I'd personally love to see it, but people nowadays would only associate Fitzroy with the red, so I think an away season for a jumper that has a similar main colour to their home wouldn't be that great.

It would only make sense for an anniversary, but the main downside would be that it would clash with more clubs jumpers.

Red is what many associate with Fitzroy in the AFL seeing as they have worn it since 1975. Fitzroy Football Club itself continues to wear red (or 'light maroon') in the VAFA. The Fitzroy / Queensland maroon worn by the Brisbane Lions for home games is enough.

A one off match maybe. But not for an entire year. The bottom line is that many people identify the red with Fitzroy and Fitzroy themselves currently wear the red jumper and will do so this weekend in their Grand Final.
