Carey's the best player I've seen. How he stacks up against the old-timers, I really have no idea. Leigh Matthews' career was awesome. I reckon he'd take some topping.

Why are Daicos and Voss on that list while Skilton isn't?

my apologies for not putting coleman in, i was a bit critical because he only played 97 games, had a very restricted career which could have worked either way, thinking about it more thoroughly now he probably should be on the list, my apologies for not putting in Skilton aswell and any others i may have missed, this was just 15 names i put up off the top of my head, their have been so many great players over the last 150 years i was always going to miss a name or two.

For mine, it's probably Carey, but Ablett goes close.
Gablett Jnr will no doubt be ranked high in the list of all time greats 20 years from now.
Where is James Hird & Greg Williams.
I could not choose between Carey or Ablett but voted for Carey.
Would have picked Hird & Williams before them. The influence they had on their team mates (brought them into the game) makes them a standout from mine.
They both made other players look good.

I was just stating for the guy above me that this thread is about players of all time not just last 20 years. FYI I voted for Lethal, mostly out of bias but because Carey and Voss are really only the recent ones I remember.

dude he kicked over 900 goals as a rover then a small forward . . .
Like Hodgepodge has said he's kicked the most of any non-forward ever, that's a fair achievement.
