....Is that big Smithy gets his 300th game this week.

Can't think of a bloke more deserving of the milestone and it's sensational that he brings it up during a finals series. The bloke absolutely bleeds Blue, Red and White and will be sorely missed by all his supporters.

The doggies might even be a strange sort of a chance against the eagles.

I'm certain all neutrals will be hoping for a doggies win! Onya Smithy :thumbsu:

Scott West is playing his 300th too isn't he?

I would be very concerned if I was West Coast, coming up against a team with 2 ledgends and favorite sons having their biggest milestone games.

Yep, Eags are playing the side that rolled them at home earlier in the year with two three hundred game milestones and a running game that can match theirs.

I still think WC will win but it should be a belter. Hope they kill each other in preparation for the prelim.

Smithy is a legend.

No he's not.

He's a good ordinary player who was durable enough to withstand the rigours of AFL football to notch up 300 games with a side which has experienced very little real success along the way.

Plent of other players have 'deserved' more and are actual legends.

At the very least he's a Bulldogs legend.
In my book anyone who has played 300 AFL games no matter what type of player they are is a legend.

he deserves to play 300 games for his loyalty and commitment to the club. More so I think than some knob with a big ego that hangs out the back of packs and abondons a club to "play in premierships".

Um, are you trying to compare Rohan Smith to Nathan Buckley?

Smith and West will become only the 51st and 52nd player to reach 300 games in VFL/AFL history. It's quite clear that anyone who reaches 300 games deserves it.

Did you here Germaine Greer this week she said of Steve Irwin "The animal world has finally taken its revenge on Irwin,"

He has passed, and you shouldn't speak ill of the gone, what an idiot.

Zeke you right here have commited the same crime. You don't speak ill of the dead, or in this case Smith in his last games for the club. Nobody represent the bulldogs spirit as Smith does and just for that makes him a legend of the club and i can't think of another bulldogs player more worthy to make 300 games for the club. Other then the players that already have.

yes, i compared Zeke to a feminist, and yes his comments were bitter from jeolousy aswell. :)

Smithy and Westy (and a whole lot of Doggies) are great players - even legends if you will...but...do not belittle Nathan Buckley as he is as professional a footballer as you will ever find. Sure - he rubs people up the wrong way with his perceived arrogance, but hell, the guy can play. He isn't the first person to have made a mistake with club choice - it was his boyhood dream to play for Collingwood.

And Zeke - put your brain in before you speak....

I'd never belittle Bucks. Go to the bulldogs forum and check the thread 'Nathan Buckley'.

the fact that I know we wont have to play the manchester united of the AFL in another finals match this year:p and also the fact that I my Collingwood fan workmates are really gonna cop it this week:p

Rohan Smith is a champion Bulldog. Heart and soul of the club, loved by all

Any money if he played for pies you would engage in an all out tugfest over his 300th.

Hes much better then a good ordinary player you disrespectful prick

of course zeke can be compared to germaine greer

they're both bitter, think they're smarter and more witty than anybody else, and nobody will miss them when they pass on
