I just re-watched Round 23, 2014. Holy ****. Good win. Quality opposition, admittedly missing a few of their best, but good win, nonetheless. Maric dominated the 1st quarter, as he needed to, with a 1st gamer against him. Rance owned the back line. Deledio kicked 3. Riewoldt 4. Miles and Cotchin swooped on everything, in close. IMO, Ellis was the most effective outside mid on the ground. Exciting game.

Still, I think I rate that win against Adelaide in Rnd 21 as my fav for the year.

Wot about you?

Essendon - because they are filthy, cheating pack of campaigners who should be reamed by the tribunal for their actions. Die Essencum Die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Essendrug game

Mostly because of all the druggies fans that threw tantys after the siren and the guy that told me to stop singing yellow and black cos "you're not gonna make the finals" :drunk:

Poort in Melbourne , had 2 average players out through injury and went on a nice losing streak. Injuries will hit em hard this year

Adelaide was good but was meh for me cos they're a shit side

Sydney was awesome but they weren't trying

Wet Coke was just another easy win with the bonus of Deen **** getting ko'd was very enjoyable

Crows match for sure because they had as much to lose as what we did and the true reflection we were/are at.A bottom(top 8) to middle rung side.

Round 23.

We came out flying and then Sydney ground their way back to take the lead.
In the past, we would have wilted.

But then it happened...the ball flew in to the forward line and I found myself bellowing 'DUUUUUUUUUSTTTTY!!!' at the top of my lungs.
He'd iced it.

The miracle...9 in a row had come true...and I was a believer.

The Sydney game the obvious choice, sheer relief that we got over the line after our start to the game, and the disbelief that we had actually made it.

Closely followed by the Adelaide game as both sides had a lot to lose.

Honourable mention to the North v Adelaide rd22 game, booting North home like they were us (I still feel dirty). That game meant that destiny was in our own hands, and when Ziebell dominated that last quarter it was probably as satisfying as many of our wins that year.

The Essendon game was my favourite, because I knew if we were to beat them we would beat Adelaide over there. Any other year we would of lost that game, you could see how much it meant to the players and the fans when Maric iced the match.

Myself, CoggaRules and Bojangles17 cuddled each other in some serious man love when that siren blew.

I really loved the crows & eagles wins in front of hostile home crowds. But really enjoyed the dons game especially becos the commontators were backing them. Especially in the 2nd when Bruce says something supportive of Richmond & a silence fell in box. Also the clear sound of disbelief from the bomber supporters toward the end. The swans game was the cream that finished the home & away nicely. In years gone by we would have wilted in any of the last 9 games. The grit & maturity the squad showed was just great....

Was a magic moment cb, I genuinely felt we were a show after that win , played well too after ess threw everything but the kitchen sink at us. If there was any downside with those memorable wins in the last month it was they were interstate rather than the G amongst the faithful. Nevertheless , they were still unforgettable in any sense
