Oh dear, you fail Religious Studies 101. You obviously are not acquainted with the history of the Church. The myth of the virgin birth was not a part of accepted dogma until around the 1420s. Only INCREDIBLY devout people would be able to tell that he actually was referring to immaculate conception as being introduced in the middle ages, which he confused with the virgin birth of Jesus, the lion of the tribe of Judea, from the virgin Mary! The virgin Mary giving birth to Jesus was known and believed from the very beginning and was even prophesized in the old testament! Mainly only Catholics believe in immaculate conception though. But I still could see where he was going wrong. This could have been avoided if you guys tried to read the bible once in a while like I do every night before bed.
