Never thought I would say this but hope Darley wins.
Time to put a big dent in the North corporation...
I don't really want either of them to win! Darley would be spending a small fortune on their side. North City just smack of arrogance. I'd rather see the club who hasn't won a BFL flag win their first, so I'll be hoping for a Darley win. Hopefully it's a good contest.

In the 18s East Point have thrashed everyone all year, and getting Rotumah-Onus back is a massive bonus for them. They planned it perfectly getting his 3 U18.5s games to qualify and keeping him just short of the maximum senior games allowed.

In the Reserves, Redan's only losses came in Rounds 2 and 3, they've been the dominant side since then. They haven't conceded more than 10 goals in a match - in fact the highest score an opposition has kicked against them was 58 which was in Round 1. Melton's challenge will be to kick a score. Even then, will it be enough against a team who are very good at hitting the scoreboard themselves?

How much do you call a small fortune?

Dominated from start to finish. All Darley players did their bit. The 3 off season recruits were outstanding & justified why they were recruited. Lyons, Challis & Closter (marked everything that came to him, just couldn't kick straight). Crowd was well behaved up there & Im sure all darley supporters will enjoy if for some time. Well deserved.

Robbie Waters has quit as Nth City coach the rumour is they will not be using Eureka Stadium to play next year whats happening ay Nth City?

Will Nth Ballarat City survive long term now that Nth Ballarat VFL is going stand alone and won't be aligned with any AFL club? I'm sure Nth Ballarat VFL are financial but it's a sports club (if I'm correct) that brings in the money. How much spenditure will go towards the footy budget? Will they be competitive or ultimately could they go back to having 1 club only?
Anyway just a talking point..

There's no drama regarding the viability of both sides.

Mitch Banner could be at Melton Sth in 2016. Very good player who will dominate this league if the side is half decent. Medal favourite for sure..
Am hearing a few other clubs also chasing him (Darly & Melton) but he will demand huge coin. Hopefully he does go back to his junior club, as that's great players giving something back.

Not certain but I'd heard that he may be heading back down that way.
He was solid if not spectacular in ths comp.

Thanks Blue Jet.When firing he is a gun . Hopefully a full preseason and full season he will be an asset to whoever picks him up.

How many u/18 coaches have Sunbury had in Horwoods tenure as senior coach ??
I think there has been 4
Phil Lithgow stepped down to become president
Pat Tyler. Stepped down due to other commitments
Cameron McCabe. Went to Diggers Rest to play with his best mate
Jamie Bramble. Wants to watch his son play for Calder Cannons so cannot make a full commitment

As others have mentioned it's all but confirmed that he'll be at Darley next season, apparently Melton South weren't able t match the package on offer from other clubs.

So Turbos mail was good yeah. Yes I did hear he was demanding some huge coin, which I thought this league might struggle to pay, especially the Melton sides. The amount I heard I think is to much for Mitch, but I suppose his got a pretty good resume and is a very classy player. In Darlys side will dominate this comp I believe..
