Absolutely, i dont think anyone would have problems with an ex AFL player taking some time out with his family over school holidays, however when you sign on as coach you are expected to show a level of commitment far and above all players. I remember listening to Anthony Rock when he was at Greenvale and speaking with Craig Clinnick who coached at Strathmore and both said they spent 30+ hours each week during the season on footy, judging by fevs media career and social life i doubt he would be doing half of that, perhaps thats what Triplett does but IMO a young impressionable playing list will be developing bad habbits seeing the way the coach prepares for games of footy. South have got the marketing buzz out of Fev and created the excitment that has brought stars like Lynch to the club, IMO they would now be better off parting with Fev and spending the cash on a proven premiership winning coach like a Mick McGuane or Marc Bullen.
Well here's the thing, until you sit back and see and understand all that he is doing in the coaching roll, you can keep your speculation and run with it. What you outsiders don't get and will never have the privilege of seeing is the dedication that Fev has for the playing group and the club as a whole. You guys can sit up there in the hills and trash talk and run down this club all you want. But truth be told, for a guy that has so much on his plate and to busy a social life as you guys keep saying, the blood sweat and effort he puts into the club is to be commended. If he does move on next year, it will be to the detriment of the club, and of the BFL in general.

He's so dedicated he trains 2 nights a month.
Please. Good luck to South they need it.

Another very even day of competition across the league with some upsets. South on the big ground without Fev seemed to work. Now I'm only going what off I read and hear but is he hurting them more than helping. With the way footy is played these days overlap run and quick rebound, have teams been exploiting his fitness and inability to chase? They have been heavily scored against until yesterday. This isn't a crack at Fev as a coach and his a great player but does the result show something. Its great to see that no side can really enter a game half hearted and still win. Even though Sebas haven't won a game yet I still reckoned they have improved and can challenge teams at times. There are not many leagues in country footy which could say this and its the best the BFL has ever been. Redan now challenging Darley for 3rd now and 6th spot is still very much a open race with North even a show if yesterday gives them momentum.

Looked very sharp yesterday mate if we keep that form up will be an interesting last few rounds
The comp is a lot more competitive than it was about a month ago, Redan stepping up, Ballarat, East, Melton and North all being in games for longer. Also Souths second win in about two months.
Looks like being an interesting run home to the finals. Marsh and Lakers still standouts, with Darley needing to get back some players and form if they are to challenge.

Melton been blessed with getting a lot of vfl player back the last few weeks that stops watch them go backwards as they play I think 3 or 4 of the top six sides on the run home also after playing Sunbury on the weekend wouldn't be suprised if they slide down the ladder a bit looking at east points draw I think they would be the biggest danger of getting into the finals

As sharp as a brick. Fev goes away, misses a week, they win, comes back and they loose to a side who were sitting on 0 wins. Now are the committee confident they did the right thing. The players look like they are gun shy, cause if they stuff up they get a spray instead of, don't worry mate get the next one. Clean the joint out and develop the kids the right way and the club might just survive. Melton Sth are still the talk of the league, except now it's for all the wrong reasons. My new nickname for Fev is the SPRINKLER, because he Just stands around and gives everyone a spray.

Shocking result. Probably unlikely to play finals now.

According to the Courier a kid broke his leg and the ambulance officers were abused when they showed up, probably because they took too long. They felt threatened and left, the poor bloke then had to wait for another ambulance.

if you believe any member from a club would do that to one of there players you have no idea what your talking about

Anyone at the South game v Marsh. Is Fev a chance to get weeks? Might be best for the team and club if he does.
Big clash this week with the derby. Darley siowly getting some form back but fancy Marsh this week.
