Good for Melton Sth to get a bit of publicity and some momentum coming into a new season. Not sure they will be favourites as coming from a long way back but should be very competitive and hopefully make finals. Should get some good crowds coming back which is great for the BFL and footy in Melton.
Interested to read Houli heading to Sth as thought he was going to Newport. If he plays that's probably one of the hardest spots to fill, being full back.

Richardson is a chance to stay now but still undecided. Will be very few other departures. Don't forget Stuldhrier & Dean Heta. Maybe Quade Butt from Werribee Development side. I suspect Brenton Payne will make marsh his home club and probably play a few games, given roosters are stand alone with no development side.

Sunbury have lost Redfern,Jesse McInneny,Burgess and Landt to start with so wouldn't put them in contention

Yeah melton south are gonna be competitive this season, but for the long sustained success I don't think that's gonna happen, let's see where they are in a few years time! half of there big recruits are already in there 30s anyway..

Name aside Cupido isn't much of a loss.
Richo still a chance of suiting up, throw in Sherlock, Stuhldreier and some good juniors, they'll be hard to beat.
Jury is still out on Melton Sth, they've recruited some quality but are coming from a long way back.
Either way good to see a few clubs having a red hot crack.

Hey mate, I like Sherlock as his a very good player and strong, but don't underestimate Lynch as he goes pretty good. And although "Shagga" Broadbent is getting on a bit in age, put him in a good midfield and he will keep on going all day. Will give you 110% each game..

Yep and I farted this morning and nearly s hit my pants. But I didn't. The 3 rounds before that resulted in 2 100+ point thumpings and a 12 goal loss to league powerhouse, Sebastopol.

Haven't heard this. Looking to return to the VFL or possibly a metro league. Problem with going to a metro league will be his a 5-6 point player and most of the top clubs are close to there point max now..

Sherlock is 27, been in the VFL system basically since he left TAC cup, is in his peak physically. Id expect him to make a solid impact dropping down to this level. Could slot into any position he wants. And its not like he'll have to do it all himself. heaps of quality around him. Still one more recruit to come. Hot favourites to start with.

How will Fev go on a wet soggy ballarat ground ? Assuming he plays in Ballarat. He wouldn't of played in too many wet games since he left AFL. Conditions in the OMFL are pristine.

He will dominate as his footy brain exceeds his physical capacity. Genuine GUN who should have played a lot more AFL......
Kicked 50 from 11 games. No reason to suggest he'll do any better in BFL, let alone that he'd play all 16 rounds. We were told Cupido was going to dominate the weak BFL comp too, managed to beat up on a couple of the bottom sides & not much else. Fevola a better player but time will tell.
