Perhaps SACA should invest less on fireworks & more on the players...
If only that were possiblePerhaps SACA should invest less on fireworks & more on the players...
That's the thing that's annoyed me most.I can't believe they never bothered to replace Fabian Allen. Not even a like for like local player
With 5 minutes with Cricinfo's (terrible) search tool was able to find 2 or 3 potential allrounder + slow left-arm bowling recruits in the "better than nothing" category, who aren't currently playing in any major tournaments or internationally. Plus another half-dozen who I think would have been available for a short term spell. That's the thing that's annoyed me most.
You place a lot of stock in your OS players both on and off the field and you don't replace one after he's done in the first game
Not enough made of your first sentence TBH.Worst fielding side I have seen. Hiding Lynn Pope and Boyce in field. Many are slow and allow 2 runs instead of 1 etc
Lots of players playing on reputation. Need lift from key batters
Where are our young guns? None present
Strikers are going to be hamstrung by the States inability to consistently develop young playersWorst fielding side I have seen. Hiding Lynn Pope and Boyce in field. Many are slow and allow 2 runs instead of 1 etc

Boyce is even worse in the field TBH.I would like to see Buckingham get a guernsey. Come in for pope who is a liability in field and can’t bat I think Boyce can provide spin
Is there a coach's issue. After a brilliant start all the subsequent incoming batters seem to come in with a suicide mission to win the game off their own bat. I understand the match NRR needed to be improved but some of the batting was poor.Outside of Lynn, that was another pretty ordinary batting performance.
Take the win and run, but seriously questions still remain.
Just the messaging coming from Lynn "We will stick with the plan" suggests that's exactly what it is.Is there a coach's issue. His action was cleared some years back.Chris Green is still allowed to bowl ??
They must have loosened things up a bit
