That's the thing that's annoyed me most.

You place a lot of stock in your OS players both on and off the field and you don't replace one after he's done in the first game
With 5 minutes with Cricinfo's (terrible) search tool was able to find 2 or 3 potential allrounder + slow left-arm bowling recruits in the "better than nothing" category, who aren't currently playing in any major tournaments or internationally. Plus another half-dozen who I think would have been available for a short term spell.

I wonder if Strikers management didn't realise that Harry Manenti wasn't a spinner like his brother until it was too late.

Worst fielding side I have seen. Hiding Lynn Pope and Boyce in field. Many are slow and allow 2 runs instead of 1 etc

Lots of players playing on reputation. Need lift from key batters

Where are our young guns? None present
Not enough made of your first sentence TBH.

Being good or great in the field is a big part in this form of the game.

Strikers are going to be hamstrung by the States inability to consistently develop young players

Need to keep the Renegades to around 150. Although we are capable of a big score, team confidence must be down.
A good couple of wickets in last 2 overs will help.

Outside of Lynn, that was another pretty ordinary batting performance.

Take the win and run, but seriously questions still remain.
Is there a coach's issue. After a brilliant start all the subsequent incoming batters seem to come in with a suicide mission to win the game off their own bat. I understand the match NRR needed to be improved but some of the batting was poor.

Just the messaging coming from Lynn "We will stick with the plan" suggests that's exactly what it is.

Chris Green is still allowed to bowl ??

They must have loosened things up a bit
His action was cleared some years back.

That said, I remember in the game against the strikers the commentary team mentioned him bowling certain variations with a "slightly different action". Surely that should have brought immediate scrutiny for someone with such a history.
