Outside of the first game, his captaincy hasn't been much of a factor.

Need to improve our list. A few more quicks with some talent needed. Surprised Buckingham has not played. Bazeley’s dropped catch was a train wreck. He is an all rounder who does not appear to be good at anything.

I think they are probably protecting Bucky a bit given his injury history.

Yeah hes quality, but like Spencer he needs to stay on the park

I think Bazley's been ok with the bat in 3 of his 5 innings that are fair to judge (excluding the 8* off 5). Not exceptional, but hit out or get out is exactly what you want from his batting position.

I think he'd be worth keeping if his bowling offered something different. As it is, he's probably the 6th or 7th choice right-arm Fast-Medium bowler in the squad. And in most games he's the 4th choice of that style in the playing XI. He's never going to offer anything other than "more of the same, but worse"

Reflection of an ordinary bowling squad, not helped with Short missing most games.

Since Rashid, we have no go to bowlers to change the course of a game.

Ideally we would always bat last & chase.

I'd like to see them develop some local talent specifically players that are good at T20.

Surely there are 1 or 2 district players capable of making the step up

Surely we have a Keeper who can bat better than Nielsen.

Agree we should be targeting T20 specialist types.
