Didn't mind the new format. Will make watching each episode easier compared to 30 mins of sweet **** all followed by Sunday and Monday being the only good nights (I miss Friday Night Live)

Yep exactly, they’ve cut out a lot of the boring bits and focus on the challenges and strategies that make Survivor so good. The original format was good for the first few seasons, but there’s a reason it was cut twice.

Hoping they lean into the strategy a bit more as the season progresses because why the **** did Zoe get 3 votes?? I thought like, best case for Keiran it'd be 6-5 to evict Laura or something.
But the Australian audience is not used to strategy in Big Brother (and I remember people got nominated for "playing the game" and also being "under the radar") and it seemed like the housemates themselves were not really eager to do any strategy.
Speaking of which, as if you even try in that first nomination challenge. No ****ing way am I sticking my neck out like that.
Finally, Alan can **** off. The guy was basically going the Richard Hatch "I've got the million dollar check written already, I'm the winner" angle but on steroids.

Don’t mind the survivor type voting evictions every few days as it allows it to be fast paced and not drag on.
You can tell the HM are still finding their feet in terms of this new type of gameplay as there seemed to be no strategy in working together as the voting seemed all over the place.
Kieran went too hard at it and needs to ease down but was never going to be voted out.
Allan is doing my head in. Anyone who is an illeist is definitely a tool. Angela is also just a narcissist brat. Unfortunately with the edits that have got, it seems that they will go far.
On the flip side, because of the limited time on screen, expect Mat, Xavier and that chick with the Tatts on her hands to go out early.
I would also like to see who voted for who. We know Allan and Laura voted for Kieran and Kieran, Zoe and Angela voted for Laura but thats about it.
Also what happens in the event of a tied vote?

I guess my POV is skewed because I know how many **** ups went into making it.
But if you compare it to Survivor (same production team), it just feels a bit ok.

If the show is focusing on strategy and challenges, thankfully I gave it a miss.
Yeah I'm not really that big on the whole strategy and challenge thing they're going for but I'll stay tuned in. I would prefer the show be more about what it used to be which seemed like just seeing the dynamic of 20 different people from different backgrounds living together. They need to feed them more alcohol.
Really? I was glad. Looked like the type of person that needed to be taken down a peg judging by her intro video. She would do my head in.
