Nope. Played it again a couple of weeks ago and it's as good as I remember. If nostalgia was a factor we'd be saying bring back IR Gurus.
Just sent you the 2015 Update for it too mate!

Oh champion! I'd been meaning to send you my save file again for the update but hadn't got around to it. Legend!Just sent you the 2015 Update for it too mate!
I just wish the AFL gave a shit. Clearly they don't and that's very depressing.
Would anyone in here be keen to join me at AFL House? The plan is to go there and speak to their media/marketing manager and express the hatred for Wicked Witch and try get them to do something about it. We have plenty of stats to back us up (with matches played with online gaming)
Dobz I love the cut of your jibe but have tried unsuccessfully several times to get a response from the AFL on this issue. And this was using the nice guy approach, I didn't even complain as such. But nothing after three or four attempts. I imagine if we rock up to the AFL we will get fobbed off. But if you take this approach I wish you every success.
Probably our best bet is for a large group of us to get at them through their Twitter or their FB page (if they have one). That way everyone sees there is an upset customer group and they have to act in a positive manner, even if it's just another brush off dressed up as fake concern. If you want to go down this path maybe we can start the conversation here. We'll probably need the support from aflsquad's HUB group or similar to get the numbers we need but I of course cannot suggest anyone's willingness to participate in any way (aflsquads may offer a view here).
I'm an admin of the HuB - Also a friend of mine got to go into AFL House about Flag sizes at matches. All we have to do is call them up or go in and see them at the front desk and arrange an interview. I think it can work. Also while I'm doing that I'll make sure I go to Tru Blu a few times to keep trying to convince Seb.
it's also a good point to raise that kids are turning to soccer as they have a new FIFA game to play each year & they are bloody good games to play. i liked AFL Live 1 & got FIFA '13 and they are chalk & cheese. i know they are different games but FIFA has been refined over a couple of decades at least and it shows. as said above, AFL live 1 was a decent platform to build a series from. add a career mode, ability to tweak the fixture each year to the real one and we have ourselves an even greater game as you can already tweak player lists.

AFL Live 3 Rumors:
•AFL Live 3 to be released on next-gen consoles (Xbox One & PlayStation 4).
• Sources closes to AFL Gaming believe we could see a press release announcement in 2015 and a release date around the time of Round 7 of the 2016 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
• Dennis Cometti and Tom Harley look like doing another round of commentary for AFL Live 3.
• An Exclusive Edition of AFL Live 3 will be available (Rumored 'Captains Edition') with early unlocks. Indigenous Guernseys are rumored to be one of the unlocks.
• An undisclosed source has told AFL Gaming that Big Ant Studios are trying to get the rights for AFL Live 3.
• Dribble kicks to be added in AFL Live 3 due to popular demand.
• AFL Live 3 will be a simulation and realistic as possible, it will not play like an arcade game. The game will be totally different than AFL Live 2 and more like an advance version of AFL Live 1.
Well this is good to read. Of course it means nothing at the moment and it's just rumors but it sounds promising.

That site is just a fan wish list. I'd be willing to bet that none of those are true, apart from the dead obvious things like that it will be on consoles and will use the exact same commentators.
Became Transmission Games and then disappeared.Whatever happened to IR Gurus?
can you name who it's up to? so we can bombard them? We've been "bombarded" off and on for years now, it's nice to be wanted
I love Footy and go every week and we have ongoing business with AFL Clubs doing their game analysis however the future development of AFL Video Games is not up to us.
I think it's Tru Blu, but good luck actually getting a message to them.can you name who it's up to? so we can bombard them?
