Something to consider, Lurk3r. Will assess after the scratch matches to see if it will work better.
Just taking a quick look online and noticing some no shows. :/ Keeping an eye on the Showdown, though. Looks like an interesting slug out.
EDIT: Looks like WCE v Carlton is now on.

Sweet. I wasn't online for the 8pm matches.. I wonder how/if they went. It's pretty interesting watching the "around the grounds" for the current matches.

Kruezer strong up forward with 3 goals for Carlton. Priddis busy with 10 touches for the eagles. Cox dominated the ruck but the judd & Murphy show too stong.

Also Jorel, I know this sounds a little complicated, but how freaking awesome would stats be! Like a comparison of stats between players over the season... most inside 50's, free kicks given away, goals kicked etc. Wow

I played mahama, he beat me 72 to 47 or something, not quite sure on the exact score. Not sure whether to PM it or what so I'll just say it here.

I don't think hardcore stats will work. I think it will be hard enough to get people to record final scores.

Definitely not as you only get to see the top 3 possesion getters. Perhaps we could work out BOG between the two players, but that sounds like a fair bit of effort? Maybe even a 3-2-1 system and we could have a brownlow?

Played Lurk3r, was indeed 11.6.72 to 6.9.45 for a 27 point win for the Crows (yuck). Power was on top early, with Mr. Johncock struggling to figure out how to kick from full back (I miss Lindsay Gilbee ), but a 7 goal second quarter set up the win.
Played a second game as well, which ended at 10.5.65 to 3.4.22 for the Crows about halfway through the last quarter, with one of our connections dropping at that stage (I thought it was me, though Lurk3r seemed to think it was him). In any case, that's where we finished.
Douglas and Knights got plenty of important touches for the Crows, while Westhoff was a handful for poor old Rutten.
Was good fun and all in good spirit. Counted maybe 4 centre bounce punches over the two matches, and bumps were used rather sparingly as well.

You deserved the win. Bad kicking is bad football. Still trying to adjust to the Bulldogs but I'm getting there.
What happened when I kicked the goal in the last quarter. Did it go to a throw in or am I imagining things?

Just finished up my first game against Dt_fanatic. Well played and in good spirit. Experienced a bit of lag throughout the game (don't believe it was on my end) but nothing too drastic.
Really close, was probably lucky to come back and win it in the last quarter as DT played very well as the Pies.
Anyway:

I wanted to get a couple of games against the computer practising as wce first but I have the 'pleasure' of having the inlaws over and I was lucky to get that game in so need to get used to using them.
Your right about the scrappiness.
It was reassuring knowing that we where going to get a full game in and not be quit on.

Just finished my second scratch match against Dt_fanatic. Experienced no lag this time which was good, may have had an impact on the result, either that or it just took me a while to find my groove.
Very happy to have played against such a worthy opponent and one who played in very good spirit. Plus he's a Pies man so what's not to like!

Just had my first match as the Kangapoos against SaintSkeeta.
May I just reiterate my earlier sentiments when I say.............North...............
I dare anyone to find a slower, less skillful team in the game....you won't. Not even GC I tell ya. Have to resort to bombing the ball long and trying to turn the game into a tackle fest - 2 things that go against everything I ever try to do playing as the Hawks.
Takes the fun out of the game having to play as a team that you don't support with players you don't know/like/care for as well...
Anyway, SaintSkeeta beat me by a couple of goals...I was lucky it wasn't more. Can't remember the exact score, sorry.
