I was looking at how old Blues Brothers was early this am and posted a pic from its release and as I do when seeing Belushi looked at Animal House

Donald was the professor who slept with Karen Allen or vice versa and his image was a brown corduroy suit .

Probably my favourite Don-Sun performance was in the really creepy Invasion of The Body Snatchers remake of 1976

That was around the golden age era of sci-fi/horror based movies (I am such a fan of Hammer Horror flicks from this era) and this gem stands up as good as many of the best from this era

Also known for his line "Always bet on black". Could also play basketball in white men can't jump.

Both have deep connective roots in the san fran region too.
My brother's favourite player ever. He was magnificent.

Saw Donald Sutherland just a couple of weeks ago on TV in The Eagle Has Landed. Tremendous character portrayal. One of my favourite films. Must have seen it ten times. He was also excellent in Eye of the Needle. Can't believe he was never nominated for an acting Oscar. At least the Academy presented him with a well deserved honorary Oscar in 2018.

We also just watched him in this

An American actress with the unusual name Evans Evans died this week at age 91. Her best-known role was in 'Bonnie and Clyde' from 1967, where she and Gene Wilder played a husband and wife taken hostage by the Barrow Gang.

Interestingly many of the main cast of Bonnie and Clyde are still alive today, including Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, Gene Hackman and Estelle Parsons.

Good evans

Good evans

'Evans Evans' wasn't her married name and from what I could see, not a stage name either. Still, there was an Essendon player in the 1940s named Ivor McIvor and a Fitzroy player in the 1950s named Robert Roberts, along with former North Melbourne player Donald McDonald who played in the 1980s and 1990s.

There's an American singer called Phillip Phillips.
