Disturbing lack of

This song is probably my most fav Aussie metal song, ever since back in 2000 when they were on here.

Just bought my Destroyer tickets. Numbers 21 and 22, I know it was only announced yesterday but considering it's at the same venue (Max Watts Melbourne is old Hi Fi isn't it?) as last time that sold out pretty quickly thought people would have been all over it already. Dearer than last time though I think.

Yeah pretty sure it's the old Hi-Fi. Seen some great gigs there. Not a bad 'seat' in the house. I've seen D666 there before.

They were awesome there last time with Vomitor and gnocchi gravey. Seen a few gigs there, great when it's packed but arse when it's not. Played a show there once opening for Destruktor and Cemetary Urn to only like 100 people and there was absolutely no vibe.

I'm sure I saw Hobbs there once??

You played there? Nice work man. Only a dream for most of us....

Yeah just the once but probably one of the least memorable shows ever :p

Coffins were great there too. I can't remember when I saw Gospel there. Just any time that joint is packed out it is unreal. May have even seen Seether there :oops:

Yep, I still post on the Hawthorn board occasionally.

I remember the gig at the Hi-Fi, was one of the more lifeless gigs we've played, but our other time there for the Evil Invaders fest was much better.

If I revisit here, I may be able to post a pro clip from our gig in Cleveland. Just received it today, but I believe it is not for public viewing until the fest DVD comes our for the Maryland Death Fest.

Malevolent Creation at the Hi Fi. Lucky to be 50 people there. Shocking sound.

Even Suffocation had a hard time getting a crowd there.

I remember that Malevolent gig. There was maybe 15 there during Frankenbok's set.

Things hadn't improved about 7 months later, at Billboard. Again, maybe 50 at a generous estimate. It's no wonder Malevolent Creation haven't toured since.

i am about as old school purist as possible when it comes to death metal. 99% of post-93 DM i listen to just apes pre-93 stuff. i cant stand brutal/tech/slam/core, but i think this album is deadset spectacular, just riff after riff after riff, amazing musicianship and no w***ery. shame they never backed it up:

Awesome album. Not really into tech or br00tal stuff either except for the odd one like Deeds of Flesh and Gorguts but appreciate that release. Nihility wasn't bad but it was too sterile sounding for my liking.

Maybe they should be playing The Corner?

I remember when Vader played at the corner. Lucky to be more than a hundred people there. Half the venue was literally curtained off. When a band of that stature struggles to pull a crowd, well it's no wonder we don't get half the bands we want.

I was listening to this just the other day for the first time in a couple of years

This album, Loss, and some other bands like Winterfylleth, Woods of Desolation (anything else with a W?) etc I occasionally boot up on YouTube if I'm not listening to anything in particular but I read that Wodensthrone split up recently so figured I should buy one of them. Lately I have just been buying albums that I should have but I don't, those ones that you listen to so much elsewhere you don't bother getting. Tonight I rounded off my Thulcandra collection, that Wodensthrone and Summoning - Stronghold.

First world problems #472.

It's 2016 and we still don't have a universal measurement for tee shirt sizes!

My new Rainbow Rising tee is gonna be a tight ol fit. You know as soon as you pull it out of the package wether their "Medium" fit is your idea of medium, or anything like the other 60 medium metal tee's in your wardrobe that come in all shapes and sizes.

Like I said, first world problems. :(

Mate I was just having this issue! Was looking a few shirts on eBay and sizing is all over the shop. For cheapo Asian made tees in Aus I go somewhere between XL and XXL (6'4" and 100kegs), but when I was in the USA recently I noticed I was only L-XL there. So I looked up some sizing comparisons online and XL here can be XXL-XXXL in the States and then of course it doesn't say where these shirts were made, only they are located in the USA. At one stage I took my current shirt off tonight and measured it. In the end I said stuff it because last time I bought anything it was Dissection and Behemoth shirts, both XL and they are actually different.
