Dozer tonight at Leadbeater Hotel in Richmond, Frankston tomorrow. Shows in Canberra, Wollongong and Sydney this week.

Saw them last night in Geelong, very solid if you're after stoner. Jack Harlon are supports at all shows and are always stellar. Smoke Witch played with Youngy from King Parrot on vocals.

deathevocation that Mortuary Drape album was very listenable. Sounds very old school sound wise, bit like Individual Thought Patterns, they’ve really let the bass be heard, good stuff!

Also enjoying the Green Lung newie, interesting sound, bit of Dream Theater about em without the extended “widdly widdly”

I thought Motley Crue were very good, they put in a solid shift. Def Leppard phoned in way too many ballads (as I expected) and were outright shit. Crue should have been last.

I got nosebleed tickets for next Tuesday in Melbourne, 50 bucks, worth a go. I like both bands without being a massive fan so low expectations.

Agreed, everyone I spoke to said something similar, I thought they were great, much better than expected. A rockin' set with most of their classics played well. Crowd was a bit stiff in my section so ended up standing for Def Leppard, who weren't too bad but yep way too many ballard's throughout.

Great show last night in Freo from Devin Townsend! Good mix of old and new but wasn't a huge set... worth it for Dev's banter alone though. Mike Kenneally is the f_____g man but what else would you expect from one of Zappa's stunt guitarists...
