Gave that a couple of spins last week, never been a huge fan so wouldn't have heard all their stuff but easily the best I've heard from them. Solid release!New Mortuary Drape.

Cool! Their other band Hydranaut are worth checking out, and of course Pod People.Lucifungus did a good show yesterday. Expected to be the only guest but ended up having a decent crowd (~30-40 probably). That twice as many as Purification had last week. Both will probably hardly pay their oversee flights with this...
Surprised to hear they actually made a movie out that spoof short. Looking fwd to Werewolf Women of the S.S.It was pretty ordinary. Enjoyed hearing some Sorcery though.
Knotfest lineup drops tomorrow night. Lamb of God are all but confirmed. Rumours of Pantera and Korn.
Pantera announced themselves they'll be there. Probably hold off & hope for a side show personally..

Awful lineup tbh.
Pantera were trash when i saw them in 1994.
Putrid lineup.

Yeah saw them at Festival Hall years ago, was one of their all time worst shows..
Not a lot of other bans that interest me either, you'd think they could easily sell out another show at Festy & Horden Pav if there're inclined.. Throw in shows at Adelaide & Perth as well while they're at it.
He was drunk or on smack in 94 when i saw them and kept talking shit about Dave Mustaine for some reason. Was that in 01? I was pretty much still a kid then (I think you and I are about the same age) and loved it, but I probably didn't know any better. I remember Phil being incredibly drunk though. The first thing said into the mic was, "We're the kings of *ing metal" as Hellbound started.
Then I saw Down in 06-07, when he was sober, and he was a completely different person, very nice and humble to the crowd.
It was, RTS tour, the band were fine but struggled with Phil being off his head, punters in the crowd were spitting on and throwing beers & shit at him. Band split up a couple of months after it iirc. Was that in 01? I was pretty much still a kid then (I think you and I are about the same age) and loved it, but I probably didn't know any better.
