I've never used Spotify. I think they'll be like Google in a way, start off as "do no evil" and just turn into complete evil bastards. That's if they haven't already made the transition.Interesting article highlighting how Spotify is (apparently) gaming its own system by padding many popular playlists with music made by ghost producers to whom it owes no streaming royalty.
Then, in 2022, an investigation by the Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter revived the allegations. By comparing streaming data against documents retrieved from the Swedish copyright collection society STIM, the newspaper revealed that around twenty songwriters were behind the work of more than five hundred “artists,” and that thousands of their tracks were on Spotify and had been streamed millions of times.

For me it's been Judas Priest, Vulture, Aardvark Crypt Sermon, Satan, Angel Sword and Helvetets Port. There are a few I am yet to get (Demon Bitch and Butcher) and a couple that I haven't paid enough attention to (Saxon and Attic). Probably forgotten a few. On the threshold of traditional metal but not are Deceased, Hellbutcher and Sabbat.
Did you try the Warlord album? I’ve had it on all day, very good
Just completing my 2 laps of the 1,000 steps. Coming back down the track with Witch Vomit’s cracker of a release “ Funeral Sanctum”.
Saw Nosferatu tonight. Well recommended for anyone into horror. Haven't seen a bad Eggers film yet.
Lord Goblin’s debut album from last year on a recommendation from another forum. Interesting so far - might be one to check out Dee Snider.
