A quality small defender going forward will be very handy
Armstrong Will hopefully progress very well and as an under aged player in 2025 play more midfield. Looks to have pace and reads the play extremely well.

Who will be the biggest improver in 2025?

From existing players we have along list of players that can take a good step this year. My likelihood % is just my own guess from those I feel I have anything to say.
It's actually fairly exciting to look at this because there are a heap of players with serious potential on our list already. No reason they can't take that step. Also no reason they won't fail. But a big change from a few years ago where this list was short and shallow.

Mansell - good 2024, can improve to become a good AFL small forward. Likelihood 70%

Miller - First 1/2 2024 damn good. Can easily improve to be that solid AFL KPD. Likelihood 60%

Ralphsmith - Exciting to watch and sometimes AFL good, needs to make his best his standard. Likelihood 30%

MRJ - Tons of talent and ability, but has to grow consistency and involvement. like to see him with midfield stints to take that step up. Likelihood 40%

Gibcus - Stay fit and play to his ability = A grader. Injury recovery concerns. Likelihood 50%

Clarke - Juddy has it all, if he can stay fit and get that AFL flow. Likelihood 25%

Dow - At best a depth mid, but also likely to be capable of doing that. Might find himself down eh pecking order if players stay fit. Likelihood of being AFL standard 80%, Likelihood of being good AFL standard 10%

McAuliffe - lots of potential, but a big step up to being an genuine AFL quality mid. Much if that is fitness related. Good to hear the training reports. Likelihood 25%

Brown - Potential to be A grade. If he can get more physicality and involvement then we've got a good one. Likelihood good AFL quality 90%, A grade 10% (2025)

Ryan - Huge step up in physicality and consistency needed. He can make it, but I am losing hope. Likelihood 10%

Trezise - Potential AFL quality player off a small sample size. Likelihood ?%

Fawcett - Potential AFL quality player off a small sample size. If fit we'll see this year. Training reports sound very promising. Likelihood ?%

Sonsie - Got what is needed, except mental application and physicality. If he can get more physically ready and plays midfield we'll find out. I reckon either a boom or a bust, not in between. Likelihood 20%

Banks - Good wing: run, carry, skills, tall. Showed bits in 2024. Another year of development and he should be ready to show his wares all year in the AFL. Likelihood 75%

Lefau - Great signs in 2024. Reckon he is a third tall type, or lead up forward. (see Bauer) Likelihood 25%

Bauer - Great signs in 2024. Reckon he is a third tall type, or lead up forward. (see Lefau) Likelihood 40%

Campbell - Love what he has shown in glimpses. very flashy type who might be anything, or nothing. Likelihood 10%

Young - 2023 top end AFL stopper KPD. So you see a heap of potential for him to take a regular spot and be well above the level as a role player. But log jam of potentially good KPDs. Likelihood of AFL quality role player 70%

Blight - Good signs in 2024, intercepter. Great training form. But competing with Gibcus who is better. Although Blight's size is good, so he might take a more general KPD spot. Likelihood 25%

Green - Good signs in 2024. Likely only a role player. But then similar to Baker, so that's not bad. Likelihood 15%
