To me there's a big difference between current top 25 and predicted top 25. It's one of the reasons it causes so much debate because people seem to struggle with the difference. Without clearly establishing which one it is, I'm not sure what's being achieved tbh. Other than that it's a good concept.

Consider it a social experiment. Many media commentators don't establish that criteria anyway and use a mix of the two when deciding the 'best' players, which probably leads to the protracted debates here.
