I can't understand the sense melting over a bloke playing 4 Europe league games

Spence should have started all 8 Europa league games with Porro and Udogie rotated with him.

Hopefully 50 starts this season for both those lads if Ange is to land us a trophy

Maybe the thinking with 4 GKs is to combat our dreadful defence we'll start 3 keepers and play no full backs to give Udogie and Porro a break

He was ignored by Ange himself in the opening 3 games

Ben Davies is a better backup LCB and he isn't passable for that role. Let alone at LB. Let's not forget Emerson Royal was viewed by Ange as a better inverted LB than Ben Davies last season.

The whole time he's been with us he has mostly mailed it in and saved his best play for Argentina. If I were Levy, I would be taking the Madrid money and run when they come calling next summer. Hopefully Madrid don't go for Saliba instead.
