I'm looking at the spurs team again and I keep forgetting about Vuskovic.

Ange and Lange have set Tottenham up amazingly for the future

Gray and Bergvall both look so good for 18. Both are gonna be something in a couple years, both absolutely showed composure miles beyond their age ( apart from bergvalls second tackle lol)
Vuskovic is killing it in Belgium and will more than likely join the squad next year. Mikey Moore I'm super excited to see this year and what he can do. Kinsky very early but he keeps that up and he's spurs Number 1 keeper.

Then you've got the Korean kid and Odobert as well coming through. Considering how good Bergvall and Gray have looked I'm excited to see Odobert when he gets a run as well.

Even Djed Spence looks really good filling in out of position
Read something in the last couple of days that he (Ange) would be bitterly disappointed if he is not here to enjoy the fruits of the youth the club has brought in

Was in his pre match presser I think I watched he literally said I pray pray pray I get to benefit from the development of this squad in 2 years because we have some special talent coming through and I hope I'm the one to benefit from it

There was one bit of play in the second half when Gray got the ball on the edge of the area, drilled out of trouble and played it out to the right perfectly with the outside of his boot. Unbelievable.

If you can't see where this could be in 2 years man I wish I could help you.

The eventual Gray-Bergvall-Sarr midfield trio should have the balance of the 3 roles needed in that midfield 3. Whether its with Ange or not, there is a great mix there. All with their shortcomings that won't improve with experience, but what will improve is the nuggets of gold we see now in their games, become absolute boss areas for them.

Gray: with the play in front of him his ability to pass through the lines to the #10 or forward players will be the asset, receiving the ball back to goal will be a struggle

Bergvall: receives the ball under pressure well and can play passes forward well, can actually see him as an Ange style 6. But for now his off the ball work and when to press is hit and miss and I think will remain that way which might mean the sitting role is a struggle. His pressing of the backline and GK is elite, but his pressing in midfield is way off and gets bypassed

Sarr: the transition and counter guy. Serves a purpose in Angeball where he is there to cover gaps left by Porro but can get it wrong. Biggest asset is that athleticism that whilst the other 2 aren't slouches, he is streets ahead. Would suit many other attacking style managers beyond Ange too

Solanke is my favourite spurs player but quite a distance now. The way that guy just gives 100% effort every game is really commendable.

The goal on the weekend was about 10% skill and 90% grit to ****ing make something happen. Same with Bergvalls run although the finish was class.

Solankes such a great team player though, he could score more goals if he played more selfishly and only ran when an opportunity comes but he's a big reason spurs score freely because he helps everyone else out

With you on this. Was very sceptical of the signing but he has been superb.

Need to **** off Richarlison and bring in Kolo Muani

Yeah same here with this guy. Thought he'd be lucky to hit 10 goals and would just press a bit. Now I don't care for the goal figure, the pressing is relentless and better than I even expected, but it's his hold up play and ability to help the team all over the pitch that I've not realised he had in him

He'd also score a shit load more with quality like Moore, Odobert, Kolo Muani, Richarlison as support instead of Johnson and Werner

why cant we build more depth and just add one on top of Richi?
My thoughts.
Keep him and add another.

For 10m I'd keep Werner. He is a hard worker.

A couple of points:

1. Richarlison is not a good footballer. Nowhere near good enough to be a first XI player for us if we want to be a serious team. He also doesn't fit Ange's system at all.
2. He is always injured. In a squad of 25 you can't really afford to carry perennially injured types. It puts too much pressure on the rest of our forward group to carry the load through busy periods. Hence the poor form of most of our forwards atm.

I think the issue is that if we sold him right now, it would be for a significant loss. Can't see him wanting to take the Saudi money at this stage in his career and no smart clubs in Europe will make a significant bid for him.
