Does Tim Watson still do that 'Watto's Waste' segment on SEN? He's a tool. And I hate when he does that commentary from the ground; the camera starts a mile away and sweeps past him while he walks in some arbitrary direction. I know it's the network that probably makes that call, but it's rubbish all the same.
I agree with most judgments on here. Not convinced Carro is so bad, but I don't read her columns, I just see her on Footy Classified. Maybe it's because she sits near Hutchie (with fence-sitter Garry Lyon in the middle) that makes her seem ok to me. (Hutchie gets the three votes here). I love the way he likes to have a dig at Carro every now and then ('that's poor form Carro...' he says shaking his head). He's just a loser, makes Carro look good when she articulately rebukes him or just doesn't bother with him. Great entertainment.
ABC is the only way to get away from a high concentration of tools.

Geez, I'm astonished, Caro with 5?!! should be more than than, she has the least knowledge about the actual game, never talks about it and is the media equivalent of Mrs Jessop/Mangle off the Sullivans/Neighbors. [yes, I'm that old ;-)]
it must come down to media coverage, not too many stay up to watch her struggle to get her bitching in with the other 3 on Footy Classified, or listen to 3AW much.

Yeah, all of this grandiose titles that Gary Lyon and James Brayshaw toss around on Channel 9 annoy the crap out of me. Carolyn Wilson and Hutchy are the usual recipients of the honours. All of this constant on-camera validation and over-inflation of their importance is nauseating.
It's all a bit like Melbourne public transport advertising. The government constantly bombard us with ads about 'how they have a plan' and 'we're moving foward', but no one believes a word of it because we're faced with the crap reality everyday. It sucks. Just like these guys really.
They can talk themselves up as much as they like, but only performance is reality.
And to extend that line of thinking: Hutchy is the journalistic equivalent of a Connex train.
It's funny you should say that because back when he was playing cricket in SA, he had no time for anyone unless they were in the state or Test team ... or the selectors of course. The rest of us could go to hell. A very arrogant man who uses people to go places.
He has used people very well then cos he has made it very far in the media.
Why do people class that as success? So he's in the media ... big freaking deal.
Would that not be a success in his eyes? If that is what he aimed for and he has achieved it, I see it as success. Plus the fact he would be making a tonne of money from his media work.
