ROB is probably the safest in our team this year.

Our plan "b" ruck option is too far back to get a run. Without injury, ROB is guaranteed all year.
I think you’ve missed the point.
He’s safe by default. Which is not the same as being a player that is in no danger of getting dropped.

Noticed when I passed aami early this morning that there was some equipment out, so came back around 9 and indeed the lads were training for the first Saturday session I can recall.

JFC can someone in the know please hook this man up with the training schedule so he doesn't have to check every oval in South Australia each time there might be a training session on.

I said it a while back that the Club should be working with the bigman as his content is far more engaging than anything that is put out by the Club via the official channels.

More and more I think he might be our answer at CHF in a post-Tex world. He’s a natural at finding space and providing leads up the ground, plus it would give him the space to use his lovely foot skills and lateral movement.

**** yes, this makes so much sense and helps maximise he talents/ability rather than being just some drab defender.

The reality is tall midfielders are uncommon. Outside of Cripps 195cm, Bont 192cm most are shorter or if they are taller just aren't that good. The chance of him (or anyone) being a gun mid at that height is super low.

We would be a touch top heavy in the forward line with Tilly, Fog and Curtin but gives us a chance to absolutely vulture a third tall matchup. And Curtin could still go on ball to mix things up occassionally like dogs do with Bont.

I said it at the end of last year and every report of Bigmans I read I believe it more.

This year we should no longer be worrying about how to find a position for Curtin. We need to pick him first and see what positions are left for everyone else. Just leave the damn magnet on the board!
He needs to take a page out of Dawson's book and just tell Nicks where he's playing.
