Markov also picked up 15 possessions. Soon enough Cox and Cameron will be back.

Frampton competed very well in the ruck, even gave our mids some nice service at stages.

Markov is a ball butcher but can run. Shocking kick though not sure he hit 1 target all night.
Interesting that they prefer him over Ruscoe, think Ruscoe has him covered personally.

I think they chose Markov because of the saints small forward line. Markov was playing on Hill and did a pretty good job

I thought some of his taps were very good and he competed strongly and that is all you can ask,I think he will prove to be a very good pickup for us, ATM we need him in the ruck and he proved his worth there it will be harder against Draper and Phillips but as long as he competes that will be a pass from me. I think long term we still need him as a fullback that can lockdown on the big forwards and this is why we recruited him and I think he will be fine in that role long term but boy I am glad he looks alright as a 1st ruck.

Hes such a competitor too that its a no brainer, Wilkie and Battle had a picnic yesterday and Redman and Ridley will do the same unless we have Krueger up there competing.

Some of the posters on here, need to admit his recruitment was very sound.

Hats off to the recruitment department for identifying and pursuing his talent early in 2022… when he was stuck in the SANFL not being noticed by the crows

You go a little further than I would. If Frampton was suggested as a first ruck option I wouldn't be impressed. As a guy thats filling a role, that has few AFL games to his name, he deserves kodos. He didn't pants the mullet for mine, and I believe the mullet is quality, but he stood up and negated any definitive advantage. Our mids did the rest. Framton deserves respect and a place in the team in the future, but thats not first ruck.

This is a bloke that is on peanuts. Yet is playing with heart and playing his role to perfection. Yes of course he isn’t a No.1 ruck. But he sure as hell puts a question to who you use with the versatility that he brings.

Billy was maligned by many on here. Who were sooking about the loss of Soy Boy. We were going to be sorry for not keeping him. I kept hearing that Billy was so bad that he couldn’t get a game at the Crows.

Well Billy today earned every bit of accolade he gets. And I hope for him it helps cement him a spot in the best 22.

We’ll need him come finals.
