The King is now in to $3.40.

The King is now at 2.60 on the Tote, tell you what, they seem to be talking that a few of these horses could be looking to be ridden a little quieter tomorrow (Trounce, LaBella Encosta) and there's a few that already get back in their races.....if it's a leaders track being on fresh ground in the first race...Undercurrent who didn't seem to appreciate being held back in an ideal one out one back last start and leading all the way at bendigo at his first start could get away from them all and set up a winning break...still think King Pulse is a monty but for some value Undercurrent could run a very bold race.

Lamarr's run in the second race @ sandown was paticularly eye catching. Bumping duel all the way down the stretch near the back of the field with Penny Louise and couldn't get out. Finally got out with about 100 to go and extended very well for 5th I think.

Should win decent races this one, one to follow.

In today r7.

Looks a decent chance after a good first up run.

Absolute Joy
By Zabeel out of Joie Denise
Lee Freedman
Target: Crown Oaks

Obviously beautifully bred being a half to Tuesday Joy. Last start at Ballarat in a reasonably strojng country race, led and fought on well going down to King diamond who pushed Spacecraft right to the line yesterday on thousand guineas day. Entered at Caulfield on Saturday and id be taking the $150 on offer for the Oaks with TAB Sportsbet before Saturday

OUR HEIR APPARENT
By Zabeel out of La Quinta Gold
Mark Walker
Target: Vic Derby via Geelong Classic

A $NZ900,000 yearling, Our Heir Apparent is perhaps the biggest Kiwi threat to the Victoria Derby. Trainer Mark Walker holds him in the highest regard, bred to stay being a zabeel - Encosta de lago cross. Bolted in breaking his maiden in New Zealand and will now go around in the Geelong classic next Wednesday. $21 for the derby, could be less after the Geelong classic...

Got on Our Heir Apparent at 81's. We'll soon have a good idea after the Geelong Cup of his value.

I'll be loading up on First Command this weekend. Can't believe he's not under $3. Should brain them.

Hot Danish will win.

Another one I'm really keen on is Rachine in the 1st at Caulfield. Over from NZ, ripped home over 1200m at the Valley and gets the extra it needs here.

Also like Gangitano in Sydney. Should run well.
