for gods sake !!! all i was doing was wishing a mate and ex coach good luck at his new club and you jump on and call him a glory hunter. he is a great player and as i said i hope he does well, and now i hope he does win another premiership. end of story

For those who may be interested, an update on some of your youngsters that you might find positive. Braedon Jones apparently signed a contract with VFL club Casey Scorpions earlier this week, and will play an intra club match against the Demons in a couple of weeks time. According to coaching staff, is making a huge impact down there and is already being considered for AFL duties in 2011. Josh Nesbitt supposed to be doing some great things in training, and is being looked at by a couple of VFL clubs, including Williamstown and Bendigo? Both boys credit Scott Harrington with getting them to where they are now....wonder who Harro might have in the wings this season!

Good too see some young talent having a crack. Nesbitt will go well. From what I saw of Jones last year he may struggle just a bit but good luck to him hope he steps it up.

Didn't Jones have a good year in Sydney? Thought he played for the RAMS in the nationals, and was runner up in the Balmain B&F.....but only heard this second hand, so would love an update..

got trials comming up hows everyone looking? me personally a liittle less fit than other seasons but definately more tanned after spening a bit of time at my sisters new whitsundays 6-bedroom bungalow lol.

Does anyone know where the BDAFL Grand Final will be played this year? According to This Article in The Herald, The Rugger boys are playing their Grand Final at No1 that day

Well u blokes got your wish. Roger Crowhurst has not had his contract renewed for the 2010 season as Ump Coach. Dare say he won't umpire either.

I dont care wot people say Roger did a great job as umpire's coach. He kept people in umpiring and taught a few young kids how to umpire. How could the BDAFL not reappoint him? Good work Roger

Wasn't the talk on here a few months back that he had been poached (for the want of a better word) by the Sydney AFL to do a similar job? did this not eventuate?
