Historically with B & F's dominant teams tend to take votes off each other, but the usual suspects like Orton, Sheldon, Clarke and Ryan will tally some votes from Cardiff.

Rawnsley from City will pole highly in my opinion as he has played alot on the ball and always accumulates a heap of possessions.

Wasn't Molan suspended making him ineligible?

In summary though, a midfielder, not necessarily from the top team, who doesn't gob off at the umps is a prime suspect.

I think Molan was last year wasnt he. He doesnt appear to have copped any suspensions this year.

Suspended or not...he certainly gobs off a lot. I wouldnt be suprised if certain umpires dont give him votes that he might well deserve, purely because he carrys on so much!

I'm not sure what the rules are on the suspensions in regards to winning the B&F. Molan was suspended last year for behaviour at the medal count and missed 2 games of this season for it...Does this count as a suspension for the 2008 season? From memory Dan Pederson won the reserve grade B&F a couple of years ago and was suspended in that season..As for gobbing off to the umpires I don't think Josh is any worse than most...The umpires cop a lot from everyone, especially the experienced players who have played in other leagues and are not real thrilled with the general standard of umpiring in the BDAFL...

Thrilled or not, if you dish a bit out to the umpires, I am sure that they will remember and direct their votes elsewhere. Interesting one with the preso suspensions as they technically were delivered and served this season weren't they?

Their will be a few dark horses floating around, as umpires do the voting for the elliot davey medal. Rick White will be a dark horse, as will Matt Walsh.

Molan was rubbed last year, but with Cardiff running the league anything could happen, if Mick Ryan wins we know he has been up to something.

Any tips this week???

Are you guys all blind!!!!!

i believe Scott "the flying V" Ducker is a shoe-in for the B&F. Swans12 you said it yourself that the B&F winner will be a midfielder and doesn't mouth off to the umps, that can only leave one person the duckman, his best season yet let me give you his stats:

goals: maybe 1 possibly 2
Behinds: 78
Disposals: 5 per game
womens hearts he has broken this year: to many to mention
combined weight of these women: don't have scales bigger enough

surely barto you have to agree the BDAFL cannot look past the cult hero of warners bay

If Mick Ryan wins it will be the first correctly awarded medal since Clint Austerberry got it. He is by far the most influential player in the comp. Followed by kemp for newcastle and snelling for KV.

more likley to be given to:
Matt Walsh
kyal walford (or Tad)
Dave Dunning
Luke Rawnsley
Steven Church
Adam Clarke

Put it this way, none of you so called experts ( but in reality nerds who couldn't kick over a barn yard and sit behind your comps sniping individuals ) would ever go near winning a best and fairest let alone predicting which one has been correctly awarded.

SS Dumbo lets have a wager ay. I put a Million on Orton. Who have you got???

I'm guessing this SS Dumbo is another Cardiff Co ck su ck er.

why is it Warner's Bay always has such a poor me syndrome???
we lost because we were missing players...
he missed out on the B+F because he was always injured...
the umpires always conspire against us...
we get such a hard run because we are warner's bay...

face it chumps, you are crap and you can consider yourself lucky to make the finals this year. My tips for the finals see Cardiff winning 1st and 18's. Close game between two of KV, City or Cardiff in ressies and Warner's Bay using another lame excuse as to why they didn't win anything.

Haha where did that come from you clown? Someone suggested Ben Hodges as a chance to win the medal...I just said it would be pretty tough considering he has only played 10 games or so. Nobody mentioned any of the other rubbish that you managed to bang into your keyboard. There will no excuses come finals time from the Bay mate...Just worry about whatever it is you do and Warners Bay will worry about Warners Bay. How's that sound chump?

i fully agree, if the duckman falls short of a b&f this year their should be a league wise revolt.

his on field prowess may have been narrowly overshadowed by some outstanding off field pickpicks but a shoe in for the B&F

Cult hero of the new mellinium

what about b.wold from cardiff? he surely must get a mention..

Mate what planet are you on?? Didn't you hear, Wold got towelled up by some Noodles81 bloke from Wyong. Someone who is such a strong character he had a cry when called a ******* during a match. "*sob sob* oh don't they realise if they keep treating us badly *sob sob*they won't have anyone to play *sob sob*? I believe they were his exact words on here.

Haha Noodles is prob still living in the "glory" days at Wyong when Berry, Tasker and Ty "Leo Dynevor" Gallagher put many a ressies team to the sword.
