not trying to stir up any trouble Miss BD just putting my views forward like everyone else on here and my view is that even if WB beat Cardiff I still dont think they have the talent to beat City but before they get that far they have to beat Cardiff this week which I dont think they can do either.
Im as about as important as yourself Miss BD. My opinions dont count for much within the football fraternity but like everyone we are enititled to our opinions. Im a simple footy fan. Is that suffice??

On the Roger issue and his ability to run. I believe and i stand to be corrected but he does a fair bit of running in the off season whether it be invloved in Athletics or some form of running.
That he does....However I think most would agree that being a distance runner does not positively correlate with being a good umpire.

I wont comment on whether it means a good or bad umpire as you know i am a club umpire so it is not fair to draw conclusion either way when we all are not perfect. Just trying to bring sense to the comments regarding the times he does for the 4 kms compared to the rest of us. He obviously enjoys running where most of us dont
He certainly does. He is a member of the Newcastle Veterens Athletic Club. I have raced against him and he is a very good runner. He has won several state and national titles in his age group. This certainly helps his umpiring.
The players do respect the fact that he keeps up with the game. No one likes umpires that make decisions from 50 meters away!!
That said, it does not matter what we say here!!
The powers to be at the BDAFL and the NCCUA must rate him very highly as an umpire and from his perspective, I guess thats all that matters to him.
Well, if that's your intention I don't think your manner of expressing yourself does you any favours. Just a thought, Mr Mysterious.

Roger let me know yesterday that UTF was still running the 2nd Kilometre of his 4km run. His current time is 23 days 14 hrs 40 minutes & 15 secs.
And wherethecrowflies, though city shut down their midfield and their defence was fantastic, Cardiff still choked because they were 18 & 0. Thats Choking.

to be honest, the ideal 3 umpire system would consist of Grant Godfrey, Ashley Borg and that young marcus trivials fella. dont know how to spell his last name, he's european.
Roger is best left to be a fitness coach for the umpires.. his days as an umpire are dwindling.

i check them out, they are good quality most of them. you should consider teaming up with a amateur jounalist and having an article in the Herald or an equivalent. the game needs it.

The only female on the NCCUA board is Emily Reichert. She is Roy Reicherts daughter. I think its a safe bet she is NOT married to Roger.
